So I walked into this Willy‘s location, no one was in line. The young lady at the counter asked me to give her a minute , 10 minutes passed by and I stood there still waiting while she and the other worker were addressing the online orders that seem to have come in, just before I walked in. Order, after order, after order, after order, after order as I still stood there the only customer there in front of them. This gave me an opportunity to observe them making the food and this is important part. Cross-contamination galore! So the manager working register who does not have gloves comes over to stir the contents and all the containers without gloves, after transactions with the register money exchange and customers passing off food to and then the worker with gloves on proceeds to then use all the handles that were just contaminated by the manager. And then, she walks back into the kitchen with gloves on and open refrigerator doors, takes dishes and puts some in the sink, open packages, opens another cooler door, all the while with the food making gloves on. Then she walks over to the grill and shifts around some meet, scoops it up and walks over and put it on the burrito all the while with the same gloves on and then proceeds to take the burrito lovingly in her hand with those same gloves on that just went all over in the kitchen and touched everything along the way , and then she made the burrito. I did the Home Alone OMG face in hands! I was halfway through my online order because I noticed this. I in jest commented that online orders were the way to go at this location online or you otherwise get you no service? And they got saucy with me explaining how behind they were , and they didn’t have time to take any more orders right now and after witnessing all the contamination of how the food is made there I elected to not proceed with my online order and make this posting hope that someone else sees that and maybe the manager or someone sees this and perhaps has a talk with the crew about safety measures And that manager, bless his heart can’t be over there on the register and then come over and touch all the spoons that the food makers have to touch with gloves on to make the food with. Read moreI will never support this location again. I placed an online order of two chicken quesadillas and get home to discover it was pork. I called to let them know my order was wrong that we ordered chicken quesadillas but we received pork quesadillas. The girl on the phone told me there was nothing she could do that it’s chicken and i told her it was not chicken it is clearly pork. I asked to speak to the manager she slammed the phone down and then came back to say “she’s busy”. I told her i was coming back to get what i ordered and paid for.
Once i got there they looked at the quesadillas i received and tried to argue with me that it was chicken not pork but it was clearly pork. There was a man that grabbed our quesadillas and brought them to Clara speaking in Spanish about if they should make us quesadillas then proceeded to call me names in Spanish. Little did they know i know Spanish so i knew exactly what they said. They almost were not going to even make us new CHICKEN quesadillas. They ended up making the correct order but made me wait 20+ minutes for it after they served the huge line that was not there when i first walked in.
Corporate needs to fire Carla and the other girl that was working the night of July 2, 2021. They have zero since of customer service. Read moreFor anyone with social anxiety or hearing impairments here is how you are supposed to order: When you go inside do not go to the register go to the unmarked left hand side of the room where there is rice, you will feel out of place and if you do it incorrectly they will scoff at you. You will need to speak loudly and you cannot ask just for what normally comes on any of their featured burritos.
I came in to order a takeout order of two baja burritos on 12/15 and left the building and sobbed in my car. The staff were unhelpful, and when I told them I was having trouble hearing them, because it was so loud as well as my own slight impairment, they started yelling and ended my visit with "god bless you ma'am" in a very condescending tone. I was told I could not order it as it comes but then when they were frustrated I could not hear them they asked if I 'just wanted it as it came'. I started to tear up as I was in line because of how rude the staff were being and the person checking me out seemed to soften his tone when he realized I truly just couldn't understand.
