Josefina’s Tamales — Restaurant in DeCordova

We all love good, homemade tamales and Josefina's are consistently great!! We, especially, love the spicy pork...ummm good. I will add, the green salsa was pretty spicy but I added it to my rice, toned down the "hot" and gave a kick to plain white rice!!

For a "to-go" only place, I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the reception area and food prep. Also, all of the workers wore hairnets. In today's society, proper hygiene in food prep and delivery are very important.

These are by far the best tasting tamales I have ever had! The brisket tamales are amazing and the beans are the best i have ever had. Met the owner and she is the nicest most wonderful lady! Drove all the way from Cleburne just to try her tamales! So worth it! Will definitely be going back! Can't wait to try her enchiladas! So glad we found this...
