So, every now and then I’ll drive thru this place on my way home from work, and while I appreciate that by the time of 11PM and afterwards that they cook their food to order, so that’s it’s nice and fresh.
My issue is when they take the order, they speak way too damned fast for me to properly understand them, and they seem to misunderstand me sometimes, though I don’t know how their headsets are so I can’t confirm this, merely speculate. Instead of slaw, I’ll ask for extra fries and then an extra piece of toast as I enjoy it quite a lot.
Now, by this time, I’m tired and want to eat, but I’m willing to wait the 6-7 minutes or so for fresh food and it’s worth it.
But the issue I have is with how ridiculous fast the drive thru speakers talk, as I cannot understand what they say properly. It’s almost like they’re not taking a single breath, much less giving me much time to process what they said themselves. At this time of the night while they’re slowly shutting things down. There’s no need to speak that fast, like they’re in a massive rush they have to clear in less than 30 seconds.
So please management, please slow the drive thru speakers down much, much more so that when they repeat their order back to the customer to confirm, so that there’s absolutely no misunderstanding.
Having worked in this industry before for seven years, it’s vital to ensure that drive thru speakers can sound both succinct and coherent to the customer ordering through the speakers and ultimately understood.
This is not a flame, or a major complaint, but simply a critique on how to better the service of this location, and quite possibly other locations that have likely gotten similar reviews.
In essence, food was good, but communication going too fast from the drive thru speaker led to a misunderstood order, and my order was not what I had...

Ordered a 4 finger combo. Recieve it and all the pieces were rather small. One pice in particular was miniscule. I have been cooking here pretty often and these were much smaller than normal for sure.
No big deal. Some quality control issues. That's bound to happen. You know what, let me mention it to the staff. Maybe they'll hook me up with another small piece.
Taking to the server, I was completely dismissed. "If you want more, but it" Was the response. 🤨 Huh?
I'll buy two meals if I needed more food. I'm not begging for scraps. I figure I'd just ask because today's order was small. At least acknowledge it. "yeah, that is actually tiny but I'm really sorry, we can't give you anything else. Hopefully you have better luck in the chicken lottery next time". I didn't expect to get anything. But to be outrightly dismissed, not acknowledge any wrongdoing, and then to turn around and act like I'm begging for free food? That's another level...
Read moreUgh I love canes ! But yesterday night time around 7ish I went through the drive through and there was a lady taking the order and I only ordered two meals and she sounded very annoyed I couldn’t even finish my sentence without her saying “what else “ with an attitude and rushing me to order , I payed for 6 extra cane sauces and received 0 then had to go in and spoke to a man and he was very nice and he then told the lady that took the order was mad and rolled her eyes I came back and asked for what I payed for . This isn’t the first time they haven’t gave me my sauce too that’s why I always check now . Anyway it’s not a big deal I just don’t like to getting treated with a attitude while I’m trying to order or being cut off while I’m trying to add something to it , I don’t blame the company but I do think the workers can do better . Oh and by the way the man threw in a couple extra sauces for free so that...
