Newer Taco Bell in the city so chose to drive there. We like this type of fast food but tonight's order was a huge disappointment. (Note: We are only mentioning gender & race of employees to assist corporate office in case they read this and choose to address the issues.) Not one employee at either register for several minutes altho we could see employee #1 (young black female) working drive-thru & worker #2 making food (young black male). We wanted to pay cash but felt forced to use kiosk after being ignored, which machine also required a credit card. Food came with no receipt or food order slip. I asked for one, told not avail. Husband looked in bags for accurate order but not 100% sure since all food comes wrapped. Also we had paid an upcharge for frozen drink with $5 combo meal but that machine was down. So why didn't kiosk reflect that so we could choose another option before paying extra $$?) So now it's a refund or take larger soda cup, which I chose latter to keep it simple. Another couple arrived after us & also complained about the kiosks as the husband wants to preserve jobs and also last time he used one both his order wasn't ready timely & wasn't correct. Employee #3 (older of two black females) finally came to counter from the back during the complaints, but didn't say much. The 4th employee (young white female) who just came on shift & didn't know all that occurred was mouthy & defensive towards me and did not help situations at all. After all that, we get home and order was wrong! Tomatoes were on items ordered without them, missing sour cream (which we paid for) and 1 missing dessert (also paid for). I called the store & complained to employee #3 who sends 'group texts to managers'. She stated they cannot do refunds over phone despite having our order from kiosk. Also I strongly suggested they acknowledge all customers waiting in their restaurant for not only customer service reasons, but also to deter thefts. She explained a cashier walked off job earlier in evening & didn't realize people were at counter. She offered that if we return to store we can obtain a refund or she will make us a new order. I told her I may return when she's working again as any other manager wouldn't know what's going on. In conclusion, this fast food establishment needs guidance & training -in many areas- before their lack of good service closes the restaurant down. This whole situation ruined our appetites for future TB food anytime soon. Attention Corporate: Why don't you watch the restaurant's interior video from @7:40-8:15 pm on Sun, April 7 at Store #033105? THANK YOU for reading. Sorry for the long...
Read moreI can’t believe what just transpired at this Taco Bell. I’ve been eating Taco Bell for years and have never had this occur. The employees here especially the man who said he was in charge on this particular day has the worst customer service etiquette I’ve ever come across at a fast food joint. What would the franchise owner say when he hears how his employees react to paying customers? So we’re here in Boca and my kids wanted Taco Bell. We are near the Deerfield location and we had a big order. I figured I’d go inside so I don’t mess it up through the drive through. I have 6 kids waiting on me at the house. I go in and order $50 worth of food. I ask before I leave if it’s all in there. It didn’t look like it but I said ok. I get back to the house and 1/2 the order is missing lol . So now I have 1/2 the kids eating their food and the other 1/2 looking at me. I call the number on the receipt at least 15 times and no one answers the phone. So I take the receipt that shows I paid for it and go back to the Bell. I’m walking in to an empty Restaurant and see the this employee Pic below. He says what’s the problem and I tell him and he says he packed the order himself. So I guess you packed it wrong. He asks me where the bag of food is? I said it’s at home with the kids that got their food. He wanted me to bring back the whole order . I told him I called him a bunch of times and laughs at me and tells me the phones broke. I say just let me have the food I paid for and he said no. Lol My gf asked for the manager and he said he was the manager . I asked where his boss was and let me have his name and he said no. This guy had the worst customer service I’ve ever scene. It wasn’t like I bought 5 🌮 I spent over $50 on his food and didn’t get what I ordered. It wasn’t like I was asking for stuff I didn’t pay for!! It was on the receipt. Their attitude was like I was asking for a kidney lol . No wonder this Taco Bell has terrible reviews Below is a pic of the “so called manager telling me there’s nothing he can do. So we left and got a pizza for the kids who didn’t have their Taco Bell . What a disgrace. Maybe the owner knows how his customers are treated because he lets these comments go unanswered but I know...
Read moreDuring the afternoon, there is the cook, a (preparer) back there making the food, assembling the tacos, etc;. He is a large heavy set dude and is one of the nicest guys around, BUT, he makes every item with pride.
You know the drill, you go to these places and get home and nothing you ordered looks like the pictures, almost no meat, barely sour cream, white tomatos and too much white lettuce. This particular cook (I think his name is Jeff) actually takes the time to make sure each item you order looks like the pictures. He's that good.
He doesn't have to do this, he chooses to, and his pride shows to the point that I have written the Corporate offices for Taco Bell to get him in a management role to teach other employees how to keep happy customers. If I were in charge, I'd employ him to travel around the country to every Taco Bell and test the tacos and such to make sure they are as good as what he makes, each time and report back to HQ to make changes and see who's dropping the ball.
I was tired of my Taco Supremes looking like crap and my Mexican Pizza ingredients poured in the corner of the box, only for me to attempt reassembly once I get home. I asked Jeff through the Drive Thru if he could make it look like the picture, he said, "I always try my best to make every item as appealing as the ones I make for myself". How many employees can you say that about? I got home, it was PERFECT! Ask for Jeff to make your food, mention that you read a review about his pride in food making and ask him to make it look like the pics. He will oblige, happily. His name may not be Jeff, just ask who the larger set cook is.
You will be pleased. This makes it the best Taco Bell...
