Before I begin my review, I would like to state that my family has owned and operated restaurants and bars in multiple states since the late 1940’s.
Having said that, I would like to tell you about my experience at Adega Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse…
To begin, simply put; you walk into sheer elegance… Where ever you turn your head you are surrounded by warm comfortable tones of deep wood, marble and glass, you will not find a finger print, smudge or stain. I believe they spared no expense in their construction, I say construction because prior it was a dingy Chinese buffet- everything is obviously is brand new and state of the art.
As you enter and walk to the hostess stand, there is an array of smiles and warm greetings all with direct eye contact while soothing music is gently played in the background that is agreeable to all. Everyone is impeccably groomed and dressed. Management are in suits and ties. Most of the employees are Brazilian and I would have to admit that all the staff could easily be modeling on a runway- everyone is attractive, has poise and exudes humble grace. The bar is luxurious with all high end sprits and beers with not a bartender but a mixologist attending to your needs. The impression is that not of a hostess stand but the feel and perception that you have walked up to the concierge’s counter of a five star hotel.
Once we were sat at our table, management came over and introduced himself and shook hands with everyone, even our little one and made it clear that this would be a VIP experience. Unbeknownst to my family, our server; Brenda was waiting in the shadows giving her manager the respect and time to set the foundation and tone of the experience that was about to begin. The moment he left she took his exact position and this tiny woman who had a ten foot tall personality with a beaming smile radiating happiness and positivity laid out everything with all options and simply took care of us to the extent that she asked all of our likes and dislikes while periodically bringing a small portion of something from the menu over and would smile from ear to ear and say ”I think you might enjoy this!, if not I’ll take it away – if so I’ll bring more!”. Brenda did this throughout our evening and let me say - nothing was taken away.
To expand on this point; some insight to their menu- absolute Michelin star capability! All meats were tender and perfect, gourmet cheeses and charcuteries were expertly presented and mouth watering. The various types and options of vegetables and salads were fresh and commendably tasty.
Finally dessert options, Brenda came over and said with pride and the same enormous smile “not to worry, I’ll take care of everything!”. Shortly after we received our deserts, which by the way; were varied regarding the questions of likes and dislikes that she had asked over an hour earlier. During that time when we initially sat down, she asked the type of business I owned and when I received my dessert there was a picture of my industry made out of all different confectionary materials and written on it, also in confections was “Thank You!”
While leaving, the manager came over once again with his wife and child to thank us for the visit. So simply put- in no uncertain terms- if you would care to experience a five star restaurant, Michelin quality food and a warm caring staff with a overwhelming family feel and leave like you have just met friends that you would like to see in the near future, I implore you to go to Adega Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse and you just might be lucky enough to...
Read moreThis was our first time here at Adega Gaucha in Deerfield. I love steak and have a soft spot for AYCE Steak so we decided to choose this restaurant to celebrate Mother’s Day!!
First off, because of Mother’s Day and I knew that they were going to be busy and we were glad that we were able to get a reservation early. Service was impeccable!! We had Brenda as our server and she was amazing!! Management was also great!! They were able to get us the meats we were waiting on but it did took a while but we understood that they were pretty slammed.
Next the dining room is separate into smaller private and semi private rooms and very elegant! Now, is the hot/cold Buffet, smaller than the ones at Fogo de Chao and Texas de Brazil but there was a variety of hot items like white and yellow rice, black beans, garlic bread, collard greens, pork belly and lobster bisque. There also many variety of cold salad items as well.
Meats, were of great quality and were seasoned perfectly (Fogo tends to over salt their meats) we were lucky that we were in a little before the big rush and got to try all the different cuts of meats (Filet, bacon wrapped filllet, picanha, top set loin, flank, beef ribs, chicken, sausages, lamb and lamb chops and the pineapple!! But once the rush hits, we notice that the meats were all on the rare side and the pineapple were still not cooked enough. They might have to work out some kinks since they have only been opened less than a month.
Overall, we had a great dining experience and the food were delicious and we will be back again!! Also, we were so hungry that we forgot to take pictures of the meats and if you don’t want to wait for the meats to come you can also order ala...

6/27/25 We came into Adega Gaúcha a little late in the evening, and honestly, we weren’t sure what to expect—but from the moment we walked in, we were treated like VIPs. The staff welcomed us warmly, and the energy in the restaurant was still vibrant, even close to closing time.
The all-you-can-eat meat experience was phenomenal. One by one, the gauchos came around with perfectly grilled cuts—picanha, garlic steak, lamb chops, bacon-wrapped chicken, ribs—you name it. Every piece was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You could tell everything was freshly prepared, and nothing ever felt like it had been sitting too long, even at the end of the night.
The salad and hot bar had a great selection too—we had warm sides that complemented the meats really well. But the true highlight? The sangria. We ordered a pitcher and it was hands-down one of the best we've had—lightly sweet, fruity, and refreshing with just the right kick. It paired beautifully with the richness of the meats.
A huge shoutout to our server Alex. He was absolutely incredible—friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our experience enjoyable. He explained the menu, checked in on us often, and made sure we never had an empty glass or missed a meat rotation. Even though we came in late, Alex never made us feel rushed and treated us like we were the first table of the night.
If you're looking for an authentic Brazilian steakhouse with great food, drinks, and outstanding service, Adega Gaúcha is a must. Whether it’s a celebration, a date night, or just a craving for amazing grilled meats, this place will not disappoint. We’re already planning...
