After spending at least 5 min. trying to park my car in back so no one will hit it, I go inside and host says restaurant is full, no seats, which I can see, and a party (I see 2 ladies) is ahead of me, and after learning Iâm a party of one, he said that everyone âbasically just sat downâ implying I might as well leave because it will be a long wait. I said I doubt everyone in the restaurant basically just sat down, and Iâll wait for the second available seating and he said OK, which seating was less than 5 minutes wait while the people left and the table was cleaned and reset. I was seated and after waiting a bit was waited on and I asked for coffee and placed my order. My coffee was brought and even refilled but after waiting 25-30 minutes for my eggs Benedict and no food in sight, and having somewhere I had to be, I left a dollar on the table and left. Meanwhile, while I was still there, lots of tables were clearing up because it was already almost 2:00 p.m. and I still had not had breakfast today. I ended up having to eat somewhere else after tending to my other appointment. This is not the first time as a single woman I have been treated as if Iâm invisible and not important and I will not be going back here again. I have eaten here before alone and treated similarly, and I have eaten here with friends and the food is just OK, so-so, nothing special! But if you are a family or group and want breakfast or lunch that wonât break the bank you may fare better.
Response to owner since Google doesn't provide a response to owner option. Your response is understandably angry and defensive, as I'm sure you only appreciate glowing reviews. and why would I edit my truth? Your parking lot was not full in back but the spaces are too close together for comfort. There is no excuse for your host to basically tell me to leave because you don't want to waste tables on single patrons. The fact you watched all this unfold only proves to me you provided no service on purpose. The fact you're a woman is irrelevant as I said this wasn't the first time I was treated this way. There's no reason I couldn't have gotten my food faster and asked for my bill when it arrived so I could leave and make your table available to someone else sooner but it appeared there was only one waitress paying all of her attention to everyone else. 30 minutes to wait for breakfast that never came is not an unreasonable complaint. I'm glad you donate to charity.ps I never received any food just a cup of coffee which is unreasonable...
Read moreMy ham, Chs, mush. and green pepper had rolled up full thin slices of boiled ham. And the Ham did taste good. But my husband had the same omelette without the mushrooms. And he had a nice big chunks of diced ham in it. Why would they make two omelettes both with ham and make different ham? đ„ș Very disappointed. $32 for two omelettes with a side of bacon. I couldnât even eat mine. It was a To go order. So apparently they didnât care.
SO 6 MONTHS LATER WE TRIED AGAIN.
đ„đ„đ€Šââïž So we called ahead and gave it a second try and spoke to the manager Patty. She had an attitude on the phone. But I let it go trying to give a second chance. My husband and I ordered our meals. She was rude when he picked it up and was so quick and didnât even allow him to leave a tip. And told him â I expect you to redo that reviewâ . We werenât even going to re-order because of her tone and attitude. But we went ahead anyway. So after I called after a meal to explain to her, why I even put the complaint, I didnât get to say anything other than my name. She said â oh here we goâ I tried to explain why I took the screenshot of her comment back because it was six months ago. Oh she said she knows sheâs been there in 35 years and she does all the orders very snotty. She said she knows exactly why. How would I know she would remember. And why was she so angry saying she knows everything. This woman has a serious problem. She definitely has some anger issues, so we will never order here again. And I will tell my friends to stay away from the manager Patty . It was ridiculous. If she hadnât had such an attitude and was so rude, there would not of been any problems. We wouldâve been continued customers here and...
