I recently had the pleasure of dining at Guzman y Gomez in Deerfield, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish!

First and foremost, the freshness of the food truly stands out. Every item we ordered had a vibrant taste and quality that made it clear the ingredients were fresh and carefully prepared. The fries, in particular, were amazing – perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, making them a delightful accompaniment to our meal.

Now, onto the service – which was, without a doubt, a highlight of our visit. Darren, the cashier, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Very much enjoyed the food, I had the enchilada burrito spicy with steak and it was great. Soooo much better than chipotle!!! Perfect amount of heat and sauce. Normally I am a little heavy handed with the salsa on the side, but this was spot on perfect. My daughter loved the chicken nachos. Could have used a spot more cheese on the chips. Guac was good and fresh. Queso was ok, did not love it and did not hate it. Love the bottled coke. Prices were pretty good for the high quality of food.

Service was very good, they helped me through the menu for a first timer and gave suggestions and explanations when asked. Order taker was new and had a person there to support them.

Tables were cleared and cleaned regularly after people left. Manager was attentive and came by the table to make sure we were good with everything.
