Visited last week and met with owner Tasia and her brother Billy who owns cookie dough creations in Naperville. He supplies the edible cookie dough for this location as well.
This new ice cream shop has a variety of flavors and the addition of homemade styled cookies and edible cookie dough makes it a real treat.
My go to flavor was the Moosetracks ice cream with cappuccino chip ice cream. On the side, I tried the Reese’s peanut butter cookie dough. Tasia explained that the edible cookie dough does not have egg and that they are a favorite for sure.
The Moosetracks ice cream was tasty, the perfect balance of mini peanut butter cups and fudge swirls.
The Cappuccino Chip was absolutely delicious. A wonderful balance of coffee flavor and chocolate chips. Highly recommend this flavor.
Other flavors tried were the raspberry sorbet, triple berry, and peach. The triple berry was refreshing on a hot day. The peach ice cream being a seasonal flavor was smooth and had a nice aftertaste. Raspberry sorbet is a great option for people looking for a non-dairy alternative.
I also tried the waffle cookie that had frosting. It tasted like a waffle with maple syrup and the frosting was delicious. I can only imagine what the other cookies taste like.
The shop is brand new and was just opened on Father’s Day. Had a wonderful conversation with owner Tasia and her brother about why they started their businesses and looking forward to seeing them expand both operations.
If approaching the potbelly building from the market side where the larger parking lots are at, I would advise to go around the potbelly building on the left side until you get to Scoops and Cookies. Some GPS devices are not able to take you to the correct side of...
Read moreThis is a cute little ice cream shop located on the backside of Deerfield Commons. If you never venture back there, you wouldn't know it existed and that's a shame.
It's clearly a neighborhood spot as a number of strollers were parked outside with moms and kids with big smiles were inside enjoying a cold treat on that hot day.
There was a friendly high school kid working behind the counter and doing homework or something on the side. We tried many of the different flavors and I settled on the peach. It was really refreshing and the perfect amount of sweet and fruity.
They had yummy looking cookies and edible cookie dough in a freezer.
The place is clean with a number of small tables and a large television in the center of the room. There were sports on the TV when we were there.
It's a cute neighborhood ice cream spot with tasty flavors and tasty looking cookies. If you twist my arm gently, I'll go back and try one. Or, if you ask me, I'm happy to return and get more...
Read moreHonestly the worst service I’ve ever had at an icecream shop if not at any establishment! First off the black haired lady (in the picture below) working on Saturday 2/22/2025 at 9:30 PM was incredibly rude and distasteful. She also gave me half of a scoop in the cup below when I asked for a cup and proceeded to charge me 5$ for it. Also she was constantly on her phone and touched her phone before grabbing my older brothers cone with her bare hands ignoring any food safety protocols. I work in a restaurant myself and know not to use my phone and touch food with dirty hands ! Overall my experience was horrible and I would advise checking out any other icecream shops in the area over this...
