Shark's Fish and Chicken — Restaurant in DeKalb Township

Update to the update: I recently ordered a four piece wing dinner and a six piece wing dinner. This place has dialed back the quality in the past year or so-- the wings are much smaller than they used to be, and they seem to be attempting to justify the price hikes for the wing dinners by including two dry slices of white bread, and a 2 or 3 oz cup of watery slaw in the meal. The flavor of the chicken itself was bland, despite a good helping of lemon pepper. The meant-to-be-crunchy chicken breading was more comparable to mush. I'm reminiscent of the great food this location was once known for, but all good things must come to an end.

Update: I was offered a refund a few hours later.

As stated by other reviews, DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY. Just waited two hours for a sandwich and fries on a Monday afternoon. Apparently, they are using Starvebelly, a third party delivery service. The delivery guy had to stand at my door five minutes after arriving because there was no record of the card payment going through, despite a receipt I had in my email. What a headache! Just pick...

They are getting cheaper and cheaper. After this new "management" my wife and I ordered the pick 2 which normally comes with 2 catfish fillets. When we got home we noticed it was 1 fillet so my wife called and asked how many fillets does the pick 2 come with and they said 2, so she informed them that we only received 1. They told us to come pick the other one up with no problem. About a week or so later, I ordered the same thing, and when I got home, it was 1 fillet, so I called and asked how many does it come with and the lady said 1. Idk what is going on and why they do this but I will not be going back. This isn't the first time this place has done this. Last year they was raising prices and deducting chicken wings from meals. They take advantage because they are right by the university and they are the only place that serves this type of food around other than sams the new chicken place. I think i will give them a try because this is ridiculous. Dont waste your money on this...

Placed an order for delivery. Waited a hour and a half before we called because we get it’s a busy Saturday night. They said it’s out the door on the way right now. Called back again at 2 hours and got told we don’t have to pay for the food. So we were fine. The food gets here and they tell us we have to pay. Most likely miscommunication from the immature attitudes we got on the other end of the phone. The delivery driver was great and nice just doing his job but these girls working the late night shift don’t know how to deal with people. Want to act like 13 year old school girls “Oooo she got an attitude somebody get the phone I can’t talk to her.” We didn’t get an attitude until you tried to tell us to pay for our delivery that took 2 plus hours.
