My first order with this Papa John's was bad. The pizza was clearly reheated, the undercrust was stale and the slices didn't want to come apart. However, the owner responded asking me to contact what I assume was their corporate review team.
My second order afterwards was perfect and made fresh with no repeat issues from the first order.
The third order I placed recently was also made fresh and with no issues. Was cut a little weird but it didn't bother me. Added some pictures.
5/25/22 Update: Quality is questionable now. After ordering a pizza recently the undercrust was burnt.
3/20/24 Update: Placed a mobile order as I usually do, went when it said the order was complete. When I get there I give my name and..no pizza. They did not make my order. Had to wait.
I don't know how it's possible to confirm an order as complete and just not have it when I get there. I placed the order at a time where it was pretty inactive. To be honest, it gave me an uneasy vibe.
11/11/24 Update: Tried this place again, still bad. Mobile order, sat in drive thru for ten minutes, no one ever came. Didn't answer their phone either. When I went inside they said my pizza would be ready in five minutes so just like before, order marked as complete but it wasn't and again, this is adding ten additional minutes since I sat in the drive thru before going inside.
My theory on that now is maybe the employees want to add on some form of 'wait tax' since I didn't tip, cause I'm the one picking it up.
Now, onto the actual pizza. It was bad, tasted mushy, like it was frozen. How they looked at that and said "Oh yeah, that's fine" is beyond me, unless it was purposefully made awful. But I'm a paying customer, you don't give your customers terrible products like this. I removed the original photos and uploaded my mushy pizza....
Read moreLove the pizza, but the service at this store is some of the worst I have experienced from any establishment. We have ordered twice from this store for delivery. We live on base. Keep in mind for both instances, we had already paid for the pizza, to include delivery fees and tip. The first time was late and we received a call saying there was no delivery driver who had base access at that time - asked if I wanted to pick it up ag the store or meet someone at the gate. Understandable, so I said I would drive to the gate and meet the driver (the lady was not happy with this answer). The second time was in the middle of the day...same phone call, same issue. When I challenged the lady about it, she claimed to be the store general manager and that Tinker will not grant the store base access at all (different from just not having anyone available). She asked if we wanted to pick up at the store. I said my wife or I would meet someone at the gate (again, lady not happy). My wife went out, no one was there. She called the store and the same lady said they didn't send a driver. Then the lady said it was my fault they didn't send a driver.
