If you're in Sioux Falls and looking for a new spot that truly elevates the sandwich game, look no further than Egg on a Roll. Recently, the owner, Rory, generously brought a selection of his delicious sandwiches into Ironwood for my team to sample, and we were all blown away.

The sandwiches were not only incredibly flavorful but also creative in a way that sets this place apart. You can tell a lot of thought went into the combinations of ingredients – nothing felt ordinary or predictable. Each bite was a new experience, showcasing Rory’s ability to balance bold flavors with quality ingredients.

What really impressed me, aside from the creativity, was the attention to detail and the quality of the food. The sandwiches were fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. If this is any indication of what’s to come from Egg on a Roll, I can’t wait to see the kind of buzz it creates in the Sioux Falls food scene. Highly recommend...

Decided to try because of all the rave reviews going on around town. It definitely lived up to the hype! I ordered online, it was ready in about 15 minutes, was able to walk in, grab and go. THESE ARE SOO GOOD!! My husband got the classic with bacon and sausage and I got the forager with added turkey sausage. The brioche buns are soft and fresh, the flavors of the egg, toppings and sauce meld everything together so well and they were filling to boot!

First time stopping in and trying egg on a roll. The guy at the counter was awesome - Rory. Super energetic and excited to help us. He explained all of their sandwiches and thanked us multiple times for coming into the store. I probably would’ve just given a 5 star on here for the awesome service but then I tasted the food and I was sold on this place. He made sure to say “grab extra napkins - these are messy, in a good way” thankfully I did because they were messy but SO delicious.
