Shop Dog Boutique — Local services in Delapre Township

I went in the store today and I feel the owners were rude and annoyed that my dog might not be friendly with the shop's dog. I understand the shop has a dog that hangs out but not every dog no matter how friendly will get along with other dogs. I spent a total of about 5-7 minutes in the store and although I was asked if they could help me find anything they didn't greet my dog or ask her name or make any suggestions of toys or treats. What I did overhear was how much it annoyed the person to have put the shop's dog on a leash and saying sorry to the shop dog for having to wear one. My dog did not snarl growl or bark at the other dogs and even sat nice and laid down while I paid for our stuff but I will not shop...

I had always been very impressed with this store and the staff and went there quite often, I took my 4 month old pup in recently to look for a leash and collar. I was greeted warmly until I mentioned if they had any clearance collars cause my pup was going to get bigger and didn't want to spend alot of money when I'd have to be replacing sooner than later, after that the gals total demeanor changed towards me and she actually walked away while I was looking at least at leashes I bought a $38 leash but guess the clearance collar was marked against me, wint be returning anytime soon, so dissappointed on how I was treated. Shop Dog is a MUST stop if you really care about your dog! It is time to support the small business owner, especially one who is so knowledgeable about the products! She only carries the healthy dog foods, and knows what is really good for the canine. The owner has this memory that amazes me- she always remembers me, what sort of issues my dog has, and points out to me any new products which may be of interest to me.
