Arena's Five Points was a tasty brunch spot this weekend.

For $44 without tip, we had the cheesesteak sub with chips (fries would be a $4 upcharge, which is expensive), Henlopen omelet, cheese omelet, one coffee and one soft drink. The tater tots were delicious, and the eggs were so good. A tall, African American gentleman brought our food out and he was very nice. Our server, Dalton Z., was excellent and very nice. He checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed.

The restaurant atmosphere was confusing because we stood in the entryway for a few minutes, waiting to be seated, until another customer who was waiting for his food informed us that it's a "seat yourself" establishment. Another gentleman was standing in front of a sign that stated this so we had no idea, but staff walking around never mentioned anything, which would have been appreciated. I didn't want to remove stars from "Service" since Dalton was excellent so I gave "Atmosphere" 3 stars.

There were no seats available indoors, so we sat outside and unfortunately, nobody came out for ten minutes. I think the restaurant could benefit from a host/hostess system because we almost left but thankfully Dalton greeted us and he was so friendly that we decided to stay.

The restaurant doesn't have dedicated parking and it gets busy in the area, so prepare to potentially walk a bit on evenings and weekends. The restaurant inside is cramped and not wheelchair or...

There are a lot of restaurants in the Rehoboth area which serve good food at a reasonable price. And Arena's is one of them. Sadly, I doubt I will go back....and I ordered take-out. You see, the difference between a good restaurant and an exceptional one, in my opinion, is the quality of the service. And the service at Arena's was anything but exceptional. I get it, I wasn't sitting at a table guzzling beers and running up a huge tab but I usually leave at least a %20 tip (even on take-out) and I did order $65 dollars worth of food so....well, you can do the math. There were some not-so-small issues, like forgetting to include the cookies I bought and watching me struggle to re-bag all the food I had to un-bag to make sure nothing else was forgotten, but what bothered me most, and what was my biggest issue, was the attitude I got when I asked my server if she could bring my food out to me when it was ready so I could sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. Her reply was, "Well, we can." And that was a 'can' with a lot of A's....we caaaaaaaan. You understand. Only problem is she DIDN'T! I had to go inside and get the damn bag after all. The bottom line is I didn't feel welcome. In fact, I felt like she felt she was doing ME a favor by even taking my order. It was all very exhausting. Much like this review. And who...

Customer Service: Staff member, Diamond Dallas Paige (so obviously a pseudo name) was courteous to take the order. After I called back and hour and change later to inquire about my purchase of my lunch, she explained how they just got slammed and the driver should be there shortly. Apparently they do not honor first come first serve there at Arenas...

Delivery 3/6/19: I ordered a French dip and a bacon cheeseburger for myself and a co-worker at 1121 hours, didn't receive it until 1248.

Food: Roast beef was dry.... IT WAS A FRENCH DIP! How the heck could it be dry!!!??? Au ju was garlic and Brown food coloring in water. Oh and just wait... Everything was cold, the fat/oil in the au ju had actually began to coagulate on the surface, my FD was gross and the burger was cold and had nothing on it that my coworker asked for. The only thing that went right here, was the fact that they didn't mess up the chips. Good...

$-$$. Recommended for those looking for a relaxed casual cafe experience or those looking to grab a quick hoagie before heading to the beach. This local version of Panera Bread is a fan favorite for it's convenient off the beaten path locations and quality of items. While you won't expect a large variety oriented menu (for those picky eaters) the list of items for a cafe is pleasantly stacked. I must make a call out to the staff and service manager which is always no matter the day has been the most pleasant and personable experience. The atmosphere is small with limited seating and parking during lunch and dinner time can be difficult. 3 TVs playing Bob Ross and sports. Pro tip, try the special of the day coffee or food. A coffeeholic myself was surprised at the smooth and rich tastes offered.

We had lunch at Arena’s Five Points with 4 adults and 2 kids. The kids’ menu was pretty limited, which made it tough to find options for them. The BLT sandwich my husband had got high taste remarks, but the bread needed more toasting. One of the grilled cheese orders came out with the cheese not melted, so it had to be returned. I picked chili for my side, but it was watery and didn’t have much flavor. Service was also on the slower side. That said, it’s a cute spot in a really charming area with quaint shops around. I’d be open to giving it another try, and if I do, I’ll update this review.
