Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Delaware

We decided to go try the new location in Delaware Ohio this past Sunday May 12. Knowing this location was still very new, and both of us having dozens of years in restaurant and retail, we were very patient as the line was long. People were mostly also all patient with a few people being huffy. Place was busy both inside and the drive thru. The very nice young woman at the register taking orders explained everything very well and after paying, she got our coffees for us. Since we are just boring old coffee drinkers we were happy to have them while waiting on our 2 breakfast sandwiches. After a few minutes turned into 15 then 20 then 30 and other people who came after us got their food, I finally went to the counter to ask where our food was. Apparently our order was " bumped off the screen" since we got our coffees. She assured me she would get them made as a priority. We waited about 2 more minutes, got our sandwiches and she gave me 2 complimentary drink coupons. I sure hope this is a one off and others had a better experience. $20 bucks and 50 mins later we left with 2 sandwiches and empty coffee cups. Good luck Delaware Caribou! unfortunately i do not have a lot of photos of my drinks and food. but i have had their cake pops, maple waffle sandwhich, cinnamon bread loaf, maple oatmeal… their berry, strawberry, and peach fruit shakers. their frozen vanilla shaker, and the campfire mocha. everything i have had from there is AMAZING! it’s expensive but it is so so worth it. the drinks are so good & there are tons of syrups and other toppings. i hate coffee, always have, but these are amazing. i love the vanilla coffees, and all the cool flavors of the mochas. i haven’t had them yet but they have mint, berry, truffle. etc. now i got my work & family addicted!

the rewards system is also amazing. you rack up points quick, i have already gotten 4 of my drinks for free!

they have been so kind & organized since opening! the staff is always so generous & helpful with orders. we will be coming back… you’re our new addiction...

Don’t read the horrible reviews because they are wrong! The customer service here has been great since they opened! (and I’ve been almost every day since they have opened). Everyone is always very pleasant and if the wait in the drive thru has been longer than anticipated they always apologize. Be prepared however to pay at least $5+ for a medium drink or larger. It’s probably the most expensive coffee shop in Delaware county but the coffee is good and if you download the app you will earn points and free drinks fast.
