Dragon House Asian Cuisine(Chinese, Sushi & Pho) — Restaurant in Delaware

The food was ok. The staff were friendly..BUT..inside dining was just not good at all. It has deteriorated immensely since Covid. I understand that most of the orders are pick up these days, but this should not come at the expense of people who have taken the time to dine in. There were stacks of boxes of random items in the actual dining area, no napkins on the table, floors we're not clean, the bathrooms were not clean, the food was served on paper plates, even the art on the walls was crooked. The table was clean. 🤷 They appear to have no waitresses anymore. Door Dash was constantly coming in to pick up orders, walking thru the restaurant and disturbing what was left of the very little harmony of the dine in experience. The restaurant needs a remodel with emphasis on a more "upscale" small dine in experience with better seating AND keep the Door Dash pickups to the front of the restaurant. Creating a hallway from the front of the restaurant to the back kitchen would prevent diners being disturbed by constant to go pickups. The picture included shows the random boxes stacked in the...

First and last experience. Less than mediocre food, even worse service.

Prices online were apparently out dated because the person taking the orders said "we must have raised them bc the price now isn't that." Smh.

Ordered sesame beef. Waited 45 min (normal) Got super hungry. Got food. Looked and tasted, poorly. More like chicken than beef. Called and was told they would remake, send out to replace. To replace?! Said I may end up eating some of what I got bc was starving. Was told not to eat it all. Smh. What kind of service is that?

As I took another bite, realized it indeed was beef but was cooked in a way that it tasted less beef and more...just fried something. Called back to apologize and notify I did get what I ordered but the taste was nothing I thought it was. Only responds was, "I'll tell em to stop making the re order then." Not even a breath of an attempt to make the experience...

Best Chinese delivery in town. Order from them at least once a month and their food is always above expectation. Never late on deliveries, and most of the time over 10 minutes earlier than stated. I highly recommend this resteraunt.

Update 9/1/23 My mom and daughter both got the lomein (one chicken, one shrimp) and they said something didn't taste right. I called the restaurant (first time in 10+ years) to ask if they changed their recipe or anything. They didn't seem annoyed or bothered that I was calling to inquire/ complain about the food. They replaced it with no hesitation and did it with genuine smiles on their faces, apologized for the inconvenience and even tossed in a decent size bag of crab ragoon (that I didn't even notice till I got home). The way they handled this was above and beyond from what I expected and I will continue to have them as my 'go to'...
