I hate to be that guy, but this was such a disappointing experience. We ordered our food through the drive-thru and when I got to the window to pay, the associate asked me if my order was under the name James. I said, “no it’s Jay” and kindly handed him my card. He took my card, walked away to charge it, then brought it back to me, asking me to pull into the first takeout parking space and he would bring it out to me. We waiting in the parking lot for OVER 20 mins (yes we timed it). Finally about 25 mins later, he brings our bag full of food to my car window and we drive away. When we get home to eat dinner and unpack the food, there were a few different issues. Mind you we didn’t have a very large or unique order (1 bowl and 2 plates). But the issues were as follows: I ordered the bowl with fried rice, but instead it came with Super greens veggies, and on one of the plates I ordered teriyaki chicken and it was COLD (not just a little cold) like it wasn’t fresh at all, and was dry, AND there was no teriyaki sauce on the chicken nor did they include any packets in the bag. I immediately called the store and explained the issue with the wrong / missing items. I was then asked for my receipt order number and I told the representative that I was never given a receipt unfortunately but I told them I just left the drive through less than 10 mins prior and also offered to give them my credit card number and order to look it up in their system and I can even bring the food back. I was then told they could not and would not do anything without a receipt. They offered no help to fix or resolve the issue they created. Very disappointing especially for a brand new establishment...
Read moreI was picking up an order for my mother-in-law at 10AM when they opened. I arrived at 10:10 to be told that pick up orders can't be picked up in the drive-thru. A lot of other fast food places allow pickups in the drive-thru, and I feel it's only fair to the elderly and disabled to allow pickups in the drive-thru. Whatever, that's not the most annoying thing - they told me that they were waiting on their white rice to be ready, with a timer of 38 minutes. I'm sorry, but if you open and start taking orders at 10am, someone should be coming in at 9am to start prepping the food for the day. Today, they should have opened at 11am if their rice wasn't done. Which, I can make white rice at home a lot faster than that in my rice cooker, so why does it take so long for them? Overall bad experience, I told them I would be back but since I got back home, I told my mother-in-law to cancel the order. It's not fair to me to waste my time or gas waiting for an establishment that doesn't have their stuff together, and my mother-in-law was appalled as well when I told her...
Read moreReceived a promo from T-Mobile for a $1 Orange Chicken with steamed rice. I hadn't tried Panda Express previously, so I gave it a shot. Was surprised how small the dish was with the regular price around $8.50. Just a handful of pieces of chicken on some sticky/dry white rice. The sauce was OK, but there was barely enough to cover the chicken pieces and none at all for the rice, so it was just a small, bland bowl of rice with a couple pieces of decently flavored chicken on top. Glad I only spent $1, but I felt like it wasn't even worth that in the end. The restaurant was new/clean, and the service seemed fine for carryout. I won't be...
