Really a shame. This place used to be one of the best Pat's and was a warm friendly place to eat during High School. I knew the chef by name because he made it a point to be friendly and give us the best service possible. My family has been a customer for well over 20 years and I've seen the place go to the absolute worst Pats in the Tri-State area the past 5 or so. After delivering 12 orders to our house, in a ROW that were all either inedible, or totally incorrect despite placing the orders on-line with clear instructions, we have given up on ever ordering or eating here again. Cheese Steaks that were nothing but burnt crumbles, completely burnt or under cooked stromboli, some with maybe 5 slices of pepperoni you have to hunt for, pasta that was raw enough to crack teeth, sauce that turned to burnt cheese and oil, onion rings that were SOUR mush after clearly spoiling, raw 'frozen' french fries, missing toppings on their pizza, mayo on burgers despite ALLERGY warnings clearly given... we had so many complaints WE got labeled as picky and 'complainers' who don't like to pay for their food... (even though we paid every dime for our original orders). They had to constantly get a manager involved who then just stopped calling us back. I guess they gave up or knew it wasn't worth addressing the problems anymore and would rather lose a customer. The last order, a square pizza which is a beloved favorite we have had for years, and SO hard to mess up, was delivered completely RAW in the middle. They made another and sent it out, collecting the uncooked pizza after a some not so nice comments (I was afraid to eat it in case they had done 'something' to it at that point.) I have always sent the food back as proof or taken pictures to show that quality and accuracy is a problem. Instead of fixing issues, the response was 'attitude' about my constant 'complaining'. I even told them how much better we like the Pats on Route 40 and how we never have a problem (but have to pick up the food because they won't deliver to us) and was told "well eat your food there then!" Really mature. They constantly refused to honor coupons, saying those were for 'other Pats' and not their place. I had a gift card they tried to say was bogus over the phone and would have to use in person... Honestly we gave them SO many tries. Now I still get e-mails that say 'Come back! Special offer' and there is NOTHING attached, no coupon and the code says 'not found' when you enter it... If you want the quality Pats experience PASS on the...
Read moreI ordered a grilled chicken sandwich tonight which clearly says on the menu it comes with lettuce tomatoes provolone and your choice of sauce on the side. When I contacted the store to get the sandwich she said they were no sauces. I explain to her didn’t matter because I just wanted the way that it comes lettuce tomato provolone and that’s it the sandwich came with just chicken and a button. I proceeded to speak with the cashier about the incorrect sandwich, as I had it delivered to my home because I just had a surgical procedure on my leg that I cannot move. When the manager came on she had an attitude she said she couldn’t send me a new sandwich back unless I came into the store and showed her that I had not eaten my sandwich. Just the fact that she would say something like that. the unmitigated gall . I then told her I could send her picture she said we’re going to send the picture to? It was an attitude straight through I told her I needed to speak with her manager she said there was none but obviously there is an owner. I contact another Pats to see if I could get that owners name. With that being said, The manger at the pats on marrows road was incredibly disrespectful and the attitude I gave her right back. She didn’t appreciate my phone. I didn’t appreciate her making the assumption that I had it in the sandwich and I was trying to get over on her. I paid for the food to be delivered. She said she could not send out a driver for the sandwiches replacement don’t appreciate that she didn’t bother to apologize for the ertor. I also didn’t appreciate that I told her that I could not move my car and that’s the reason why I asked for the sandwich to be brought back to me as I paid for delivery the first time and did not receive a correct order she said she didn’t have to do anything for me I said fine and I would find out who the owner is. Don’t waste your time with this place when you can obviously spend your money someplace else. There’s no decorum, they lack professionalism and at the end of the day that’s just downright ignorant with their behavior. Finally.this peon said she did not have to do anything for me. Read moreSo I called to order for Pickup from this store that said they close at 9pm. They answered the phone and said they were not taking any more orders. It was 810pm. The young lady who answered said they weren’t taking any orders and transferred me to manager. Manager said it was her call and they weren’t taking anymore orders. I asked her name and she said she didn’t have to give me her name and abruptly hung up on me. Crazy part is I have praised this place to any and everyone that’s in Delaware or is driving through to stop here and try their food. I stop quite often at this restaurant for food when driving through but will never ever stop again as long as this young lady works at this establishment. Some young lady managing a restaurant without customer service have caused this establishment to lose a customer that has been coming there since the early 90’s. The young lady would not reveal her name. So I will say she was manager on last shift on March 30th around 8pm-815. She’s a disgrace to your establishment and have no business being a manager.
