Thurston's Pub — Restaurant in Delaware

If you you're looking for a place that has a very "comfortable" ......and I mean "comfortable" vibe Thurston's Pub is your spot! Trash talkin.....bi#€ callin.....f bomb droppin..all while you drink your drink and try to have a convo with your friends! If it's your first time there....don't worry the sh# show will continue! I don't mind having a good time...yuckin it up with my friends...but having my bartender and her friends being louder and more obnoxious than me was annoying....despite that I still tipped for my 9.00 drink....and not even a "thanks"....or "screw you! Regulars may be use to the atmosphere...it was my first time and the whole scene was corny...like a episode of cheers gone...

When I came in the bar the bartender was talking to some people about the weather among other general talk and yes, they didn't order anything. She looked at me and continued talking for not less than five minutes before asking me what I wanted. When I tried to order my second drink she was very rude because we tried to get her attention in a way she didn't approve (waving a hand) and yelled across the bar at us. Normally a very good place when Chuck is there but when he is not the bartenders are very discriminating and quite obvious they try to keep their inner circle happy while treating others like they are non paying customers! Second and last bad exprience I have had...

The Happy Hour domestic beers are not $2, they are $2 off, which works out to $2.75. Not including Blue Moon and Sam Adams, is ridiculous, since it's only $2 off, and they're still making a good profit.

1/2 price nachos, are $5.75, but the regular price is $10.99, is this the new math, I've been hearing about? $11 divided in half is $5.50.

The food is good! There's only one bartender, that has a bit of Ahole in him, and it's not the dude with the beard, he's really cool, along with the manager, and Happy...
