On the 21st I went in and made a purchase. $13.78. Upon scanning my card the cashier told me it did not go through. I told her I saw it say approved. No good. Ran it again. Immediately opened my bank app and showed the cashier that I had been charged twice. The answer that I was given from another employee before even leaving the store that they have to wait until it clears my bank because she didn't know if it had already been reversed. This is a lie. She was just to lazy or poorly trained to do her job. But for the moment I had to apparently deal with the fact that Wawa has just stolen $13.78 from me. I went back on the 24th, last night to again try to get it reversed. The answer I got this time is "Well that's a problem for your bank". Definitely not acceptable. Definitely not customer service oriented. Definitely rooted in the inability of the general manager to train their staff . So I left my name and number for the general manager to call me back. It is now 4:00 p.m. on the following day. I've still heard nothing. This store is full of thieves who are poorly trained and indifferent to the disservice that they are giving their customers. Even the general manager is just as reprehensible and indifferent to the mistreatment of their customers. If you go to this Wawa stay away from ordering any drinks. They will overcharge and up charge you for anything and everything. I get my coffee the exact same way every time I come In. I had to pay 50 cents for one pump of simple syrup when sugar is free when you order coffee. She made my drink incorrectly and then refused to fix it unless I paid the 50 cents for the one pump. When really it was supposed to be free. Some of the people need to be told the rules and policies again because at this point they are making stuff up they are telling people the wrong information.
