My husband and I stopped at this bakery by chance, we tried The Pear dessert and truly enjoyed it, so much that we had the idea of asking Julian Belon (the chef) to make us that particular dessert as our wedding cake. We obtained his business card and emailed him; it took him weeks to answer (I should've taken that as a sign) When it came to the day before our wedding, we picked up our cake and it was not at all what we expected, first it was given to us without a box to transport it to our event, we had to cut down a cardboard box to place it into our car, while I had to manage to hold it so it didn't fall apart, the cake in the back was all scratched off and the "flowers" he had charge me so much for looked like a dollar store purchase as they were plastic. I was charged $267.00 for one small cake, the top you see, the second tier was for decoration purposes, I messaged Julian and there was no answer as of today, my wedding was on 05.28.2024. At the time of our wedding, we were eager and hopeful that this cake would taste good. Oh boy was that a HUGE disappointment, the cake was horrendous! it had no taste and it fell all apart into crumbs; some people even got sick from it counting my husband.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! HORRIBLE SERVICE...
Read moreThe only reason that I’m giving them three stars is because the desserts look absolutely beautiful. The presentation was also absolutely amazing. BUT…. I visited this location about three maybe four times and everything that I’ve had so far just didn’t taste that great !
I’m also glad that I’m not the only one who feels the this way, especially reading some of the other reviews. I was a bit relieved !
I think the best thing that I had was the banana cheesecake. Everything else was just thrown in the trash. The pear dessert lacked so much flavor and barely had any cake inside of it. Then I tried the red velvet cupcake, which was the biggest disappointment because I am a Red Velvet connoisseur. If I can see any brown color in the red velvet, I already knew that it was gonna be bad and it was. A true red velvet should be a deep red/burgundy color. Plus, it was very dry and also lacked flavor. After that I was done trying things. No Thank you !
I’ve had better red velvet cakes at nothing Bundt cakes and for only $5…. They perhaps maybe Should try to get a...

I bought the s’mores tart ($10) and the red velvet mini bundt ($5) which is standard pricing in the area. The tart is just okay, have had way better and the Bundt literally has no flavor, after the piece I took to try it (pictured) I could not bare eating a bite more. When I walked in, I asked the girl what she recommended, and she barely had confidence in the options and I should have known there to turn around but I decided to still oblige.
I am a sweets aficionado (have literally hopped on a flight to Europe for a personal sweets tour) and this did not pass the test. It makes me wonder who the 5 star reviews are truly from because 3 of 5 Google Local Guide reviews currently give...
