edit in response to owner this restaurant does NOT serve shawarma. Shawarma is not cubed pre-cooked meat reheated on a flat top stove. People may enjoy this restaurant and rate it well. But that doesn’t change the fact that what you call shawarma is indeed nothing resembling real authentic shawarma. Here is the definition of real shawarma in case you have never been to an authentic Mediterranean restaurant - “roasted meat, especially when cooked on a revolving spit and shaved for serving in sandwiches.” Shawurma means “turning” in Arabic, again this is not real shawarma

Two of us came here for dinner really wanting to enjoy it, after reading the reviews we were very excited.

I got a salad with ‘chicken shawarma’. Firstly this is not real shawarma, it’s cooked on a flat top and seasoned with ‘shawarma’ seasonings but does not taste like authentic shawarma. The chicken was also dry when I ate it. My girlfriend got the falafel which was fried, that’s okay but I think it was premade and they fried it a second time before serving it. The falafel was very hard and also very dry; really disappointing. The veggies were fresh and the dressings were good but did not make up for the hard, dry falafel and the imitation, dry ‘chicken shawarma’.

We were really sad as we had high hopes. Will say that the staff was very friendly and the place was very clean which is a bonus, but based on our visit it wasn’t great or authentic...
