Review for L' Escaleta Italian Restaurant in Delray Beach, FL I recently had the pleasure of dining at L' Escaleta Italian Restaurant in Delray Beach, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish! The warm, inviting atmosphere and attentive service set the tone for an exceptional meal. The highlight for me was their Linguine with Meatballs. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente, and the meatballs were tender and flavorful. The sauce had a rich, robust flavor with just the right balance of herbs and spices—simply delicious! We also tried the Lasagna, which was layered with creamy ricotta, hearty meat sauce, and melted cheese. Each bite was comforting and packed with authentic Italian flavors. To complement our meal, we ordered a fresh Salad, and of course, no Italian meal would be complete without their Garlic Bread. The bread was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, with a wonderful garlic butter spread that was absolutely irresistible. Overall, L' Escaleta is a gem in Delray Beach, perfect for anyone craving genuine Italian cuisine. Highly recommended! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I had taken out from here when then first opened and enjoyed it. Now that they got good reviews on NextDoor, it has become popular. Tucked in a corner of the Kings Point shopping center. We went on a Saturday night and they were busy. Found out that one of the servers didn't show up so the service was horrible. Also the most unfriendly and unhappy staff I have ever encountered. My wife tried the Penne alla Norma, penne pasta with fried eggplant in a tomato sauce, topped with ricotta salata cheese and fresh basil. Just ok. I opted for the Frutti Di Mare , shrimp, mussels, clams and calamari in a lite fra diavolo, served over choice of pasta. They run out of mussels and extra shrimp. The pasta was hot but the seafood wasn't. Also not fra diavolo. Served with garlic rolls and choice of a side of salad or soup Too bad since i enjoyed the shrimp fra diavolo, the first time. Sorry but we won't return.

This fairly new neighborhood gem is a great addition to available local restaurants. It’s simple yet nice and clean and the staff is lovely. Friendly, welcoming and efficient. And the food is very good and reasonably priced. It’s comparable to Nino’s, but newer and brighter without the waits and the crowds. Loved the Rigatoni Bolognese and the Chicken Francese over linguini was delicious too. All entrees come with soup or salad, both delicious and their rolls were warm and tasty. A good bottle of Italian wine was only $28. We are going back next week with a bunch of friends

Amazing Experience from Start to Finish!

We had an absolutely fantastic dining experience ,from the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming, and the food was nothing short of incredible.

For appetizers, we started with Nona’s meatballs, eggplant rollatini, and fried calamari—each dish was cooked to perfection. The meatballs were tender and flavorful, the eggplant rollatini was rich and creamy, and the calamari was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of seasoning.

For our entrees, I had the linguine with clams, which was loaded with fresh, perfectly cooked clams in a delicious garlic and white wine sauce. My husband had the penne alla vodka, and it was one of the best we’ve ever had—creamy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.

Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, and we left completely satisfied. We can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch...
