I'm very sad to see the state of customer service at this restaurant. This store served as my first job, back when it was still owned by Team Schostak. At that time, the focus was on quality, and on customer service (I still remember the details of the "Ten-Twenty" rule" which required us to replace any order up to ten dollars without question, and allowed us to do so up to 20 dollars with manager approval, no receipt, no fuss).
I'm not sure what's happened, but their customer service, and the quality of their food have been going rapidly downhill. Their food is usually not hot, and when I went this morning with my family members, we were told we could not do three separate orders for simple breakfast items in the drive-thru, and that we would have to "go inside and order" for a third." I get that many restaurants are worried about their drivethru times, but it was not busy. We were the only people in line, and REQUIRING someone to make personal contact during a pandemic is CERTAINLY not customer-oriented! To add to that, the food was luke-warm at best, and the cashier sounded like she absolutely hated her job. She first told us about having to go in for a third order, and without giving me a moment to discuss it with my family, she quickly demanded to know whether we'd do two separate orders or whether we weren't interested. Frankly, I was prepared to go around the drive-thru again just to do the third order and spite her.
We got to the window and had to wait. There was no smile, no greeting, nothing... She simply held out a little plastic dish for me to put my card into and ran it before giving me BOTH meals we had ordered (stupid on her part: with my card back, we could have driven off without paying for the second meal). After the second meal was paid for, we still had not received our beverages: bottled orange juice! We had to wait almost thirty seconds, and finally the cashier returned to the window, and instead of asking if everything was okay, she simply scowled and acted as if we were causing her an inconvenience, probably because of an emphasis on speed. Even when I explained we were still waiting on drinks, she simply scowled and grabbed them. There wasn't even an acknowledgement that she'd forgotten... not a big deal itself, forgetting the drinks, but she could have at least said "oops. Sorry." and then wished us a nice day.
I'm sorry, but if we are that much of a burden to this BK and its staff, we can easily take our business elsewhere. Again, I worked in this exact store. Pitiful performance all around!
PS. Limiting drive-thru orders on a slow morning during a pandemic? Incredibly STUPID rule! Needs to be done away with PRONTO......
Read moreThis Burger King continuously messes up my order. Which, isn’t usually a big deal. I go back, and they fix it or I just deal with it. But this has happened numerous times and after last night, I decided that I wanted a refund so I could go elsewhere.
I called and was hung up on, despite being polite. I tried calling multiple times last night and today with no response. So I went in person and the manager was rude from the get-go.
At first she refused to give me a refund but after I explained why I was requesting one and how this has happened multiple times, I wasn’t going to come back. She accepted the receipt and said it didn’t have a date on it. Which is honestly, not my issue. I told her I could prove that I called multiple times, she proceeded to demand that I show her my BANK ACCOUNT if I want a refund, to prove that I was there last night.
I did agree to show her my bank account (which honestly, never should’ve happened) and she proceeded to say that “this is the only time we’re giving you a refund.” I suggested she teach her cooks how to make a double cheeseburger, only ketchup correctly at that point. Read moreHORRIBLE customer service today. Before calling this location I checked online for allergen information, I have a small child with severe allergies. The information online was dated at 2017, so I called this location to speak to an employee asking about the couple of items I was curious about as far as allergens. I heard people yelling in the background “tell them to check online!” “Why are they asking?” Etc etc…the lady I spoke to was not professional sounding to start with and had no clue about the allergens in their menu. I could hear people in the background not sure and heard them continue to yell to tell me to check online. I went to this location, ordered and then spoke to the employee at the window. I let her know I too work in customer service, am a store manager and employees should be educated on allergens in their menu items as well as have it posted somewhere for them to have access to.
