I took my girlfriend here for Valentine's Day. It was pretty great. I'll start with why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I'm not completely germaphobic, but I don't like my silverware put directly on the table either. When our waitress brought our desert, she placed our spoons on the table and that was kind of odd. And when we asked to have our food boxed up, she grabbed my basket of calamari with her thumb grasping the inside and touching my food. Again, I don't typically fret over things like this, but considering the feel of the rest of the restaurant, this probably shouldn't have happened. I've worked in the restaurant industry and I kept my hands out of people's food.
The atmosphere was very intimate and ideal for a Valentine's day date. The tables had this little vase with some water or oil in it and had a floating candle and a small flower with some decorative rocks in it which looked really nice. The temperature wasn't too cool or hot and the ambience of the room was nice as well. They have some pretty neat decorations that span the wallspace and along the ceilings. It was dim in there but not close to dark. I really enjoyed the look and feel of this restaurant for sure.
We ordered the calamari appetizer and it came out with some delicious marinara sauce and a small loaf of Italian seasoned bread that was crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. I ordered the Chicken Marsala with mushrooms on top and it was amazing. The chicken had a slight crisp to it's edges and was carmalized with sauce. It gave me the impression that it was cooked on a hot fire and the flavor seared in nicely. My girlfriend ordered the veal parmesan and that was cooked perfectly and had a wonderful flavor to it. Obviously it was tender and melted in our mouthes. Then we had the chocolate drizzled cheesecake... That was the best cheesecake I've ever tasted. I was definitely impressed and it was presented very nicely on the plate as well.
Aside from the small amount of displeasure we had with the service, she did refill our drinks regularly and was very polite and informative, so I had a great time and will recommend this place to my friends or whoever reads this.

Read moreWe had reservations, we waited like 10 minutes to be seated.. No problem with that... Upon entering we saw that had some beautiful Christmas decorations and we got a view of the wine cellar. They then sat us in room with two large parties. A baby constantly crying at one table and the group of ladies being extremely loud at another. The waiter we had at first was very detailed on the what he liked from the menu and gave us some recommendations on what to eat . However, after he took our appetizers and drink order. He left us hanging. We waited for bread for a moment while they made sure the larger parties had theirs. We asked another waitress for bread and she said it would be a few minutes due to them making the larger party drinks. We finally bread after 20 mins of sitting there. However another smaller table that came in AFTER us got their bread before we did. Besides the horrible service.. The food was extremely good. Seasoned well to perfection... My friend and I dined on Funghi-Ripieni-Di-Salsiccia ( Italian sausage stuffed mushrooms) . Costolette- Di- Maiale-Impanate ( Breaded Porkchop and roasted garlic potatoes ) and side order of asparagus. She had the same as well , along with Mozzarella-Frita ( Mozzarella sticks) I wanted to order more drinks but as I said the service was horrible. The bar wasnt getting the orders out fast enough. So we only tried one drink. Venetian Queen ...it was delicious. We wanted more but they couldnt get it together. Overall experience a 5 for the food, 1...
Read moreI recently dined at this restaurant with high expectations, as I’m a longtime fan of Italian cuisine. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of what I had hoped for.
While the decor was tasteful and showed promise, the service and overall dining experience were disappointing. The most concerning moment occurred when our server accidentally spilled an entire glass of champagne on one of our guests. Their response lacked empathy, offering only a few verbal apologies and napkins to manage the situation. No further efforts were made to address the inconvenience, which left us feeling undervalued as customers.
Additionally, despite having made a reservation well in advance, we were seated in an undesirable location at the back of the restaurant, near windows and a door that caused an uncomfortable draft. Although the restaurant was not busy at the time, no effort was made to relocate us to a more accommodating spot.
Lastly, the food itself did not meet the standards one would expect from an Italian restaurant. The flavors were lackluster, and the dishes left much to be desired.
While the restaurant shows potential with its attractive decor, the overall lack of care in service, comfort, and food quality ensures that I would not return. I hope management addresses these issues to improve the experience for...
