Wow, really bad experience at Denham Springs store this morning. The GM was the rudest person I have dealt with at this store and in recent history in general, that I can recall. I am in the service industry and as a leader I am shocked that a GM would treat a customer this way and model this behavior for employees to emulate. I do mostly mobile orders from this store probably on average of 6 days a week. A regular to say the least. This morning I accidentally hit a prior order that included 2 drinks instead of the 1 I needed this morning. There is no cancel button..I arrived as fast as I could to the store as they were finishing up my order. I informed them that I only needed one of the drinks. The GM asked what happened and I explained. She then told me, "I already made it so there is nothing I can do". I explained it was a mistake and that I come here daily and I am sure there is something we can do. She said "it's your fault, not mine, if I had made the drink wrong..." I was shocked at this point that she was being so rude. I asked if there was a manager I could speak with and she said she was the GM. I explained that the way she was treating me was a problem and she said "no problem"....I left the drink I did not want at the store. I am floored and very concerned that this is the way CC's does business. Is this how people are trained? To be utterly disrespectful and rude with no regard...
Read moreI came here with my girlfriend to work on a paper (I'm an LSU student) and ordered a vanilla latte. While I was studying, the workers must have thought that we left and were talking about situations/people they thought were creepy. One of them proceeded to say, "That guy from earlier who ordered a sugar free latte was creepy", referring to me.
Granted, I was in a bad mood at the time because this week has been finals week, so I have been pretty stressed taking exams, working, and grading tests for the class I TA for, so I can understand that I probably gave off an "I'm not happy" impression. I'm also male, so that may be a factor.
In any case, no one who knows me and 99% of people who first meet me would certainly NOT describe me as creepy, and I don't appreciate the judgement when you know absolutely nothing about me nor my circumstances at the time. Imagine if I make a rash judgement about these workers and CC's because of this situation and decide to never come back. But instead, I will choose to show some grace and assume that the situation originates from two bored workers just trying to pass the time.
Just next time, show the same grace to me, a person temporarily stressed beyond belief and in a generally bad mood who has decided to vent about it in a needlessly long review. Thanks for coming to...
Read moreI hope the management of this CC's, or chain-wide sees this. We travel the country full-time and enjoy seeking out local businesses, coffee shops in particular because we like supporting this kind of small business. We mostly enjoyed the atmosphere and really enjoyed the coffees we had. We also enjoyed the energy and respect and helpfulness of the three young people that were working that day. I fully support and encourage young people to work and enjoy what they do and who they work with. However, in between serving customers, the very loud incessant cackling that erupted became unbearable. All three of them were involved in some kind of inside joking relating to writing something on a white board behind the counter. At one point, one of them was so out of control that they sat on the floor coughing like they were having some kind of asthmatic episode. This was VERY unprofessional behavior to those of us...
