We walked in less than 30 minutes before closing and still got greeted and served as if it were the prime hours. Getting a late start to our day of traveling back home from vacation we found ourselves hungry and desperately trying to avoid eating anything from any of the 24 hour fast-food burger joints. Saw Raising Cane's and prayed they wouldn't give us the stink eye for coming in so close to closing. We are restaurant owners ourselves and generally try to be considerate by not going into establishments so late-but like I said, we were hungry and desperate lol! The manager, Derrick, upon learning that this was a first visit for us succinctly explained the menu and made recommendations that suited us all just right. The food was super-yummy and hit the spot for this family of super-picky eaters. Being that our family runs a restaurant, by default, we enter places with a critical eye. This place was clean, the staff were professional in dress and in attitude. The manager was knowledgable, proud of his store and a great representative of the company he works for. We rarely experience all the nails getting hit on the head, but this Raising Cane's made a great first impression on us and has won our return business when returning to visit the area. Gotta give honor where honor is due! Thanks to you all for sending us weary travelers off on a high note! And if ever your in our neck of the woods, Come visit us at our place. Southern Harmony Cafe, and let us return...
Read moreWell now, this Raising Cane’s in Denham Springs has been standing tall for some time, hasn’t it? And, let me tell you, the chicken tenders they serve are like a breath of Southern air on a warm afternoon—tender, flavorful, with just enough grease to make you feel like you’ve been wrapped in a comforting embrace. It’s not the sort of thing you’d find in a fancy restaurant, but, my dear, it satisfies a hunger deep down inside like nothing else can. And unlike many places, parking here is plentiful—a rare gift in today’s world. No need to struggle or circle around; there’s plenty of space for all who come to enjoy.
But oh, there’s something about this place, something that lifts the spirit. I remember one Christmas, they turned the whole thing into a celebration—National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, a tribute to Chevy Chase. It was more than just a meal; it was an experience, a little piece of joy tucked into the ordinary, something that made you smile even as the world kept spinning.
So, yes, parking is a breeze, and the tenders? They’re worth every moment. A true 5-star experience, with a touch of fun—just like life ought to be,...
Read moreI visited the Raising Cane's on Range Road in Denham Springs last night. I went through the drive-thru, and the workers were really nice. I specifically requested extra crispy chicken and fries, as well as lite ice in my Arnold Palmer. The guy entered my request into the system, and I told him I didn’t mind waiting since that’s the only way I enjoy my food.
When I got to the window, they handed me my bag. The drink had regular ice, not lite ice, but I didn’t complain. However, after driving the 15 minutes home, I discovered that the chicken tenders were barely battered, and the fries were soggy and not crispy. I was frustrated. I didn’t want to drive all the way back since I was low on gas, but I ended up throwing away the food because it was tasteless and unpleasant. Even my dog wouldn’t eat it. I literally wasted my money. They were not busy so my request could have definitely...
