Let me start off my saying the food was great, with the exception of the Mac n cheese. My husband and I went to dinner here on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at around 6:45pm. We were seated quickly and gave our order to the waitress. I ordered a filet (medium) and shrimp combo with a sweet potato and Mac n cheese for me and a filet (medium rare) and shrimp combo with corn and mashed potatoes for my husband. Simple right? Evidently not. Our food came and there was no shrimp with either plate. I asked the food runner about the missing shrimp and she looked at my ticket and said it will be right out. Okay, I said. My Mac and cheese was just two clumps of noodles stuck together with cheese on top. I would think it would have been decent since there was an extra charge of .99 cents for it. The steaks were cooked to perfection! When our waitress came over, I politely asked if I could send back that Mac n cheese and exchange it for green beans. No problem. Finally our waitress brings the shrimp… well one order anyway. I asked where the other order was, she acted like she didn’t know we both ordered the combo. So she goes to put in the second order of shrimp, as we are nearly done with the rest of our food. We finally get the other order of shrimp, which was excellent by the way! I asked for a refill on my drink, waited about 10 minutes, and now I’m done with all of my food. No drink! Don’t see our waitress anywhere! So I just go to pay and see my bill. I was charged separately for each steak dinner and shrimp and I was charged for an EXTRA order of shrimp and the .99 cent Mac n cheese was on my bill even tho I sent it back. I looked everywhere for our waitress to no avail. So I asked someone walking by to get a manager for me. I’m not sure of his name but I told him about the mistakes on our bill and he assured me he would fix it. As I was paying for the bill after the correction, our waitress finally showed up with my drink. I told her we were leaving now, I didn’t need it.
Ok, I have been to this location several times because it is better than the Baton Rouge location, and I’ve never had an issue with service like this. I also hate to be the one to complain, but I when I’m giving an establishment my money, I would hope to get better service than I received and I expect to at least get what I ordered. That seemed to be an issue here this time. I shouldn’t have had to beg twice for what I originally ordered.
So because of the service all around, I give you two stars. But don’t get me wrong, the steak and shrimp were cooked to perfection, but the Mac n cheese was a bummer. I hope I can update my rating and give more stars with a future visit.

Read moreThe wait was an hour, even calling and getting on the waitlist!! Once we were seated by ‘Carley’, our waitress; she took our drink order (two iced teas), and was asked to bring us some utensils and saucers for our rolls. We then, requested clean utensils; the ones she brought us were ‘ABSOLUTELY FILTHY!’ After receiving six other sets of utensils and four saucers (all of which were filthy, covered with food particles); I asked to speak with the ‘Manager!’ I politely brought this to her attention; she said; ‘I’m sorry, but I’m so busy running around, trying to take care of things, and I’ll take care of it!’ Well, after several minutes of waiting on this particular manager (‘NO SHOW’), our waitress brought my Husband and I, our meal. His steak, etc. was perfectly cooked; my steak, etc. was way over cooked, baked potato was wrong; I asked for the manager, again. Fifteen minutes later, I went to the front of the restaurant, found her, and asked her to cancel my order; she said, ‘I’ll be over there to talked to you, in a minute!’ I said, ‘no, don’t bother, just cancel my order; this is ridiculous!!’ Five minutes later, she came to our table, again with an attitude, making excuses, saying, ‘she’s just so busy, running around, etc.!’ She snatched the order ticket that was taped to our booth, and offered to get my meal right; I told her, ‘no thank you; my stomach is in knots and I can’t eat anything, right now; just bring us the ticket, please.’ Wow, she had a bad attitude, and should never be in a management position! Then, another employee approached our table, noticed the rotten, baked potato (second one) that was given to me to eat, while the kitchen was preparing me another steak; this person ‘Netsy’, happened to be the owner. She was as upset as I was; she listened to my concerns, apologized with a genuine heart, voided my meal charge, and gave me a $15.00 gift card. She asked me to give her business another try; I told her that we will do that, and thanked her for her understanding. Unlike the manager (one with the bad attitude), ‘Netsy’ (the owner) has ‘GREAT PEOPLE SKILLS’, so her business deserves a second chance! Thank you, ‘Netsy!’ Pamela and...
Read moreMy experience is always good except for Saturday me and my husband sat at the bar the ladies greeted us we got our food and was eating. During our meal my husband asked for a water I had sprite but the young lady with the dreadlocks brought me water too. Still eating I needed a refill and again instead of sprite she gave me another water. I asked the other young lady for a sprite I think her name was Kirsten and her attitude was horrible. (the other young lady apologized for the mixup) I told her Kirsten I didn’t ask for water but asked if I could get a sprite instead. She proceeded to tell me that it wasn’t a big deal gave me my drink and slammed it onto the bar with an attitude. Now we didn’t want to cause a scene bcuz my husband is already 6’6 almost 300 pounds and is a retired NFL player but he was not pleased with the service his wife received. We like the restaurant and the food is always great, my husband is an over tipper but because of the horrible service the tip was beyond low. Since Kirsten said it wasn’t a big deal we made sure the tip wasn’t either but in the future she needs to learn that anytime your working in customer service EVERYTHING your customers need is a big deal considering she works for tips. The ladies can learn a lot from Tylar he was our server at the bar once before and took care of everyone at the bar (the bar was full with no seat empty) by himself with no problem and his attitude was OUTSTANDING! Maybe Tylar can be a future trainer to show these other servers how it’s done! Long as Kirsten is at the bar we’ll never sit there again and because of the attitude and poor service not sure if it’s worth coming back. I’ve been a customer service manager and have over 20 years experience working with the public. Kirsten attitude is not acceptable and she had an attitude for the duration of our stay. I’m...
