Boomer's Grill — Restaurant in Denton

First let me say, I love your food! However, today wasn’t a pleasant dining experience.Burgers were overdone, when we told the waitress they were not cooked how we ordered them she started to get an attitude with us. And then brought back burgers that had been fixed. But your waitress (Chloe) checked on us one time during our dining experience. She was sitting in the back of the restaurant on her phone the entire time. My friend had to call her over 3 times when we needed assistance. Because of this we did not tip the waitress. She simply was not doing her job. When we paid our bill she saw the ticket and saw there was no tip, she walked to the back of the restaurant to what I’m assuming is the manager and was yelling that we were mad, and that we did not tip her. Loud enough we heard her at the front of the restaurant. The entire restaurant saw and heard what she was saying about me and my friend in a VERY unprofessional manner. I went to back of the restaurant to explain to her why we did not tip her. she started yelling at me, that the tip is how she makes her money. And I wanted her to understand that if you don’t do your job you do not get a tip. She was very disrespectful, and said that respect is earned and not given and the manager of the store was right next to me the whole time as well. Chloe was a terrible waitress and extremely unprofessional. She gave your establishment a very bad look today in front of all the other customers in the restaurant yelling and arguing with me about her tip. I respect the work waitresses do, but I do not respect a waitress who spends the entire time sitting down, on her phone instead of tending to the customers, Or cleaning the establishment. Chloe was very disrespectful and unprofessional. I am 69 years old, I have been in the restaurant business for 37 years. And I have never encountered a waitress with such a poor attitude and poor work ethic and that had the audacity to embarrass customers because of her...

Pulled into the name brand chicken store across the street, saw Boomer Jacks and decided "why not" I was feeling adventurous. Pulled into the tight parking lot which is shared with Starbucks and made my way to Boomers. Walked in and was surprised how unassuming it appeared from outside. Walked in, there is a nice long bar straight ahead, decent seating area at the front of the restaurant and TV's on the wall lining the seating area with sports on them. I quickly said to myself, I found my new wing spot, but of course that would completely depend on the wings! Asked out loud how to order "to go" and a waitress immediately directed me to the bar with a smile where I placed my order. The bartender took our order, told us to get comfy and he would bring my credit card to me momentarily. I had a seat, waited about 15 minutes and had the goods. Got home, busted the bag open and dug in. I ordered the lemon pepper and mild, it was a two flavor order with fries. I thought the flavor for the mild was on point. Good flavor, not too hot. The lemon pepper was good too but I liked the mild the best. Fries were really good. Liked them a lot. I kept dipping them into the mild sauce of the wings. Good mix! After I got done eating, I said to myself, I just found my new wing place! Next time I will stay, eat and enjoy the sports and atmosphere. Ordered through Uber eats. If I could give a 0 or negative stars I would. The monte crisco had no powered sugar on it. The fried pickles were covered in salt and not edible. The fries were undercooked and whomever bagged up our food did not properly put the lid on the raspberry sauce that comes with the monte crisco and it poured all in the container and all over my bed! Called and spoke to a manager who acted like he could careless and said well call Uber eats because there’s nothing I can do. Uber eats isn’t doing phone help right now so I’m currently having to message them. Highly aggravated and disappointed. 40 dollars worth of food disgusting. Everything was cold. Considering this place is about 10 minutes from my house it shouldn’t have been that cold. I worked in fast food for over 10 years and I know the way things should be done and this manager couldn’t be bothered. I will never be visiting this boomer jacks again. I don’t remember the managers name because he spoke so fast when my husband asked for it. So whatever manager was on duty on Tuesday January 5th between 5 and 10 needs a lesson on...
