CAVA — Restaurant in Denton

I have an order placed for pickup. When my daughter arrived well past the pickup time the order had not been prepared and they prepared it while she watched. When she arrived home with the order everything was correct but the lemon vinaigrette dressing. It was straight lemon juice with no vinaigrette. I called and asked for the manager and spoke to Javier he was very rude. The call was simply a courtesy call to let them know the vinaigrette was not sent in the order correctly. He tried to explain something about the lemon juice and the oil mixing together but either way it did not make sense because the dressing is not just lemon juice and oil. The dressing is much creamier and this was again liquid lemon juice. I explained to him whatever way they mix it is not my concern he just may need to speak to the staff when we are preparing orders. He then says to me if I wanted a refund that I have to go online and I never requested a refund again the call was just a courtesy call. Throughout our conversation he continued to cut me off being rude and I had to even ask him to stop cutting me off and to listen to my concern. When I asked was he the shift manager or the actual store manager he only gave me his title he never would confirm which position he had. I asked him this several times and he would never again confirm his status there as the store manager or...

My first time here and I had such high hopes for this place. I'll have to visit again to see if it was just a hiccup and poor timing. I got the bottom of the barrel when it came to the rice w saffron, that they had to throw in a lil Brown rice to compensate. The wait was another 10 minutes for fresh rice. I did ask for "a lil bit of the lentils" and the gentleman serving did the opposite which probably wouldn't have been too bad had they been cooked properly. They were hard, like hard par cooked someone was in a hurry. I gave one for my friend who loves this place and she was surprised at how hard the lentils were, not firm or al dente but definitely under cooked. That ruined the dish. Such a shame the rest was tasty and well the array of colors were beautiful. I DO LIKE PRETTY FOOD. The tziki sauce fell a lil flat for me, and i wish the chicken had more flavor as it got lost in the bowl. However, I did enjoy the red pepper hummus and the slaw very much. I'll have to get more of those next time. the garlic sauce complimented everything else in my bowl. I also enjoyed the choice of drink, I had the Pineapple Apple mint it tasted fresh and unsweetened. I placed an online order through the app for digital drive thru pick up. Upon picking up my order and checking it (after waiting a while) I asked if I could have fresh pita chips & a fresh pita. I was told no if I wanted fresh food I should have come in. I explained I use digital drive thru every time due to being disabled & never had an issue with getting fresh food. I then requested a refund & was too denied that. The employee Connor who said he was the manager was rude & very unprofessional. It shouldn’t matter how my food was ordered it should still at least be warm especially being I wait every single time I come through the drive through. He called the police on me saying I refused to leave, however I refused to leave without fresh food or at least a refund! I’ve never had an issue as this location at all and I’ve asked for fresh pita chips before. I was given a credit that didn’t even cover my order total.
