Visited here for the first time because it's across the street from work, convenient for a quick walk from UNT.

I ordered the rice bowl with chicken and two taiyaki. The rice bowl was very well seasoned (almost like biryani?) with a good helping of diced chicken and leafy greens. Asked for tahini sauce on top, could've done with a bit more but it was great nonetheless.

The two taiyaki were a good size, filled with a nice amount of filling. I was told I could mix and match flavors, so I got a nutella and strawberry-filled taiyaki.

This place is as charming inside as it is out! Whatever you're craving, the staff here has you covered! Known for boba, but has yummy savory dishes for full meals too. Their custom fries are a meal themself, yummy grilled sandwiches of whatever flavor profile you're feeling, samosas, chips, and a tea for every whimsy with a variety of mix-ins! If you still have a sweet tooth, they have exotic ice cream flavors, filled macarons, taiyaki, hard to find candies, and more! Super friendly, cool staff, a cozy location that never gets too hectic, and a great price point for affordable novelties. I came here with the intention of only getting a sandwich and left with some really delicious ice cream! The sandwich (italian cold classic) was entirely vegan and genuinely better than any other sandwich I’ve had in Denton. I was told the ice cream is made from a homemade recipe and it shows (in the best way possible). It’s super creamy but still feels light and has amazing flavor (i got the oreo).
