This place is so cute! I walked in during a rush and waited around for boba which I was told was a 10 minute wait which was totally fine! I got my drink really quickly for how many orders were coming in. My friend got the strawberry smoothie and she said it was really good! The owner comes in to help around in the back, which anyone who knows a restaurant- the people who care come to help. So I really liked to see it. I wanted more chicken in the kfc bop but it was still pretty good. The k-sauce kinda melts into the rice and veggies too much so next time I’m going to ask for the spicy mayo. The bowl was 1/2 rice and the other 1/2 veggies, chicken, and noodles. I honestly really liked the veggies they all had spot on flavor for me. It definitely tasted homemade. The workers were really nice for boba and when I asked for extra sauce the people in the back let me have some more without hesitation. But I like my stuff spicy so it was definitely a me thing. Everytime I come back to my apartment near the shop I see a lot of the same workers no matter the shift, and some of them are doing both cooking and boba. I left a tip cuz they’re working hard and a lot from what I can tell. My friend said to be sure to communicate with whoever is taking your order. During rush or later at night they run out of stuff so some drinks won’t be available if you come in...
Read moreI'm a regular and I like to get my favorite boba drinks here, they're the most similar to Bubble Well which is across town. However, the brown sugar boba is hit or miss. Half the time, they haven't soaked the boba long enough and it's still hard but they serve it anyway. I risk it because I don't want to drive across town to get Bubble Well but it's up to you. The cashiers have been kind but you can tell some aren't well-trained in customer service. My first time there, I waited at the register for 5 min with them actively ignoring me before someone got my order and no one told me about the self-serve machine, which I'm sure they were ignoring me to prompt me to use. If customers aren't expected to order at the register, why put it in a universally-accepted location where you go up and order? I'd never seen one before then and there wasn't anyone else waiting in line to set an example for me, so a quick verbal redirection would have been kind. I don't expect them to care about me, I've worked in the industry long enough to know that job is probably boring and people just want a paycheck. But the business should consider improving the hospitality of some of their employees if only...
Read moreMy first time going here i got the pineapple fruit tea with strawberry popping boba, and it was amazing!!! my friends also very much enjoyed the drinks they got as well. Service was super great as well! I went back, got their regular milk tea with strawberry popping boba, and it was okay. the fruit teas were definitely better. Today, I got the tofu k-bop, and i’m super torn. i don’t know if it’s supposed to be served like this traditionally, but the tofu was uncooked, ice cold chunks on top of hot rice, noodles, and veggies. i tried it as is, and it was an odd sensation having half of the bowl be cold and the other hot. if it’s meant to be that way, that’s on me! i heated it up at home and enjoyed it! it was pretty sweet, which i know some people don’t love, but i thought it was a good balance of sweet and savory. Also, the menu in person is a bit chaotic, and picking sauces for my bowl was awkward, and the worker was low key not helpful :( TLDR: pineapple fruit tea 5/5 milk tea...
