Great venue with great staffing and lots of security!!! The only 'negative' thing that I have to share concerns the size of the seats located inside the coliseum. I'm not a grossly overweight man, 5'10" - 245lbs, but it's totally difficult for me to slide into my small seat and even more difficult to get out of that seat when it's time to stand for the national anthem, to go to the concession stand, bath room breaks, and leaving after a Win by the UNT Men's Basketball Team!!!! Is there a TRICK in acccomploshing this task?

I went to this location for a UNT graduation. My family member was in a 24” wheelchair. The doorways to enter are not wheelchair friendly. Someone must open the heavy door for you. You must exit the wheelchair, fold it up, bring it through the doorway, to be able to sit back down. Definitely cannot navigate this without assistance. Once inside, most of the wheelchair spots were taken 45 minutes before the graduation began.

The secret to parking at the Coliseum/the Super Pit is to park in parking areas on residential streets. They have small parking lots there. Close enough to walk but far enough from the main parking to evade the long lines as cars are entering and leaving the stadium main lots. The Coliseum itself is well-designed, wheelchair accessible and multiple entries and exits.

Graduated here, and was unfortunately a terrible experience. From arrival to leaving, the building was chaos. It was rainy and cold, and after the commencement we were let outside with no way back in. Trying to go to the bathroom or find our family members was a mission within itself. After struggling to get inside just to find our family members, we were yelled at by security and almost tackled. We were simply trying to get with our family and leave. The security single handedly ruined this experience along with the lack of communication and order. Other than the Professors from the University, every working person was unapologetically rude. My partner was behind me and I tried to watch from the behind the stage, in which I was yelled at for and missed my partner walking the stage along with missing their name being called. I am very displeased with the experience and hope that the next class of graduates do not have the same experience me and my...

The coliseum itself is okay. Pretty standard coliseum. Large monitor screens in the coliseum dome allows you to see the coliseum floor. My only issue (and it’s a huge one, hence the 2 star rating) is that parking is an absolute nightmare. Nothing is marked. Parking stripes (at least where we parked) are very hard to see. We were at the venue early and still had to park an extreme distance. No trams or shuttles. For someone like me, who has trouble walking it was very daunting. I barely made it. My sister has a bad knee and she was really hurting by the time we made it inside. People were walking in the road ways, between cars, etc. It’s a miracle no one got hit. Leaving...

This place is huge but the seating is ridiculous!! We were VERY uncomfortable because the seats were way too small. Whose idea was it to fill the place with Kindergarten seating? We're tall too, so our knees were banged up whenever someone sat down in front of us. That all being said, I would imagine that being uncomfortable for an hour or so was better than missing the event because we couldn't find seats. There are a ton of them in there, just know that they are unusually narrow. The rest of the Coliseum was great, clean and...
