Mumbai Fusion Chaat - Pure Veg Food Truck — Restaurant in Denton

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this food truck. The food I ordered was overwhelmingly salty and sweet because it had far too much chaat masala sprinkled on top combining with sweet chutney. I brought this to the attention of the staff, and one of them decided to "inspect" the dish by removing the top layer and tasting a single piece of aloo from the bottom. He claimed it was "perfect" based on that single bite, completely ignoring my feedback.

When I pointed out that he had removed the top layer, where the excess chaat masala was concentrated, and tasted a portion that didn’t reflect the actual issue, he finally acknowledged that the top layer was indeed full of chaat masala. Despite this, he refused to replace the dish. Frustrated, I told him to trash the food since it was inedible, but I highly doubt they actually disposed of it based on their attitude.

This experience not only ruined my meal but also left me feeling unheard and dismissed as a customer. Proper customer service means listening to feedback and resolving issues, but unfortunately, this establishment failed on both fronts. We ordered the Aloo Tikki Chaat and a Grilled Sandwich. The Aloo Tikki Chaat took about 45 minutes to arrive, and by the time we were eating, it felt a bit dry.

When we asked if they could add a little dahi on top, we were told it would cost extra. At a chaat place, that felt surprising—like being charged extra for chutney with dosa. The response also came across as rude by doing a favor to add Dahi, which made the experience unpleasant.

The Grilled Sandwich was another disappointment. The menu mentioned “mashed potato,” which usually means spiced yellow potato filling, but instead it was just plain boiled potato with no flavor.
