NOT worth walking the length of Concourse C
Long travel day and it was about 7:45pm on a Saturday. Location closes at 9 (supposedly). Everything was sold out. We stood just outside the line area looking at the menu for 3 mins. Both workers were in back talking. Display case had not been cleaned--sugar and salt all over--so it seemed like they were making more.
Once we stepped up to order the guy pops out and says they're closed. Oh, closed already. The other worker came out with a smile and said "dough is rising 30-45 mins, then we're closing." After that rises, how many more customers can you serve? None, they said--with the guy somewhat irritated.
That seems very odd. Why mix dough, let it rise, then not use any? Does it just get refrigerated for the next day?
These two seemed uninterested in working (or lazy as one of the other reviewers said). It's a shame, because Auntie Anne's can be good when run effectively. At a minimum, be more friendly and apologetic. I wasn't being rude, just trying to figure out if more food was on the way. They didn't even try to sell me a drink or anything--Simply CLOSED (75 min early),...
Read moreEasily, 100% the worst Auntie Anne's I've ever been to. I see why the line was so short.
The case had 4 cups of salted pretzel bites and 3 or 4 unsalted pretzels. They had been under the heat lamp so long, they were shriveled up. Ugh. I asked for what I wanted, pretzel dogs for the kids. You know, usually they'll say it will be however long of a wait and they'll have it done. Not at this one -- the girl said that what was in the case was all that was available. That's fine on its face, but the attitude was gross.
So then, I asked if they could do cinnamon sugar on the plain ones and apparently they were out of cinnamon and sugar. Again, fine on its face, but the attitude! Damn.
All I could do was walk away. And based on the girl's reaction of laughter, she was oblivious as to why. No one wants to pay $25 for some shriveled up, old food, with a side of piss poor attitude.
The skinny, younger girl with the wig and baby hairs who was working the register at about 130pm on August 2 needs some serious retraining, or a new job where she isn't...
Read moreWe came to the Auntie Anne’s in the C concourse at Denver international airport for some food on a layover. We left members of our party with our bags at the gate and went to look at the menu and when the woman who was working came over we said we were looking at the menu. So she turned around and went back to working, then came back to us while we were still trying to decide and was visibly frustrated and annoyed that we were not yet ready to order. There was no one in line. She didn’t get our order right and when I asked again, she threw the cups of pretzels into the bags. We explained we were trying to get the order from our kids at the gate and she responded rudely. We also asked for Regulars and she told us she only had smalls. Must’ve been a rough day in the...
