Characters Sports Bar — Restaurant in Denver

Very friendly, food and service was amazing.. River the bartender / manager was super friendly, . Although I stayed at the Holiday Inn their bar closes at 7:00pm & Characters closes at midnight . I Highly recommended if your staying in this area & super friendly. The pork hatch chili is not your "typical" chili but Amazing ( spicy ) and delicious. A Denver Staple.

Service is slow and unorganized. Hard to tell who belonged where when all employees are behind the bar and waiting tables. Staff ran around like it was everyone's first day. If I am going to pay $20 a hamburger and $15 a drink, I expect the staff to know what is going on. After watching the manager play with the staff while our cold beers sat at the well (and arrived in warm glasses straight out of the dishwasher 🙄)I would have to guess it all...

Food was awful. $20 for a burger with the classic perfectly round frozen patty, absolutely zero seasoning, and bland old fries. Chicken sandwich was the same. They use fancy descriptions for ingredients, but you'd be better off at McDonald's. At least...
