Tonight I called in about 4 minutes to spare before closing and asked if I was able to pick up my order. I'd be there in just a moment. The girl I spoke with on the phone said it wouldn't be a problem. Just go ahead and put in the stall that you're going to be in and I said okay. I'll see you in a second. I get there with 2 minutes after closing and I call and the girl answers and she said hold on. There was a gentleman in the background speaking Spanish to her that she asked the question in reference to me picking up my order and he basically told her to hang up the phone. He fumbled with the phone with her hung up the phone and I called back and they answered and they hung up immediately. Now I know my order has already been made yet you don't want to serve it to me and then you want to be extremely disrespectful when I'm standing out here at the store. The location where I spoke with the girl who said it'd be okay to pick up my order and you don't want to give me my order let alone continuously hanging up on me. I absolutely feel like that is the worst customer service environment atmosphere. However, you want to put it available to anybody especially when I'm a consistent customer. I got a flat tire. Life happens and yet you choose to make it a little more difficult for some people who are already going through something a little bit strenuous. Keep up the s* work.
UPDATE: so this automated response and reference to my review from Sonic AKA the owner I see is continual throughout every personal review placed. I figured I'd go ahead and give it a shot. Give him a call at the number provided within the comment section from the actual supposed owner and it is automated 100% even when you're transferred over to another automated person. All referring to try and sell you or give you a free. I apologize a free Life alert button and try to expand your mind on your Medicare part a and b. There was no actual human contact. There was no option to request that and literally the entire automated system was referring to something that is irrelevant to my review of how awful and disrespectful this franchise managers and co-workers together are and how they treat people and how they produce the type of food...
Read moreRicardo was managing this location this evening when my boyfriend and I came through the drive thru at 11:12PM. We called ahead around 8PM to confirm their closing time, as their website indicated that location closing at 12AM. The female representative I spoke with confirmed 11:30PM.
When greeting with blacked out lights and no service, we both inquired why the location was closing early. We were polite and simply wanted to understand for future evenings, as we called ahead to confirm we could arrive after but boyfriend’s shift.
Orlando (the shift manager) arrived at the window and immediately explained that they were closed. We shared that we understood, yet the location website and the representative I spoke to indicated otherwise. I counted 6 employees (manager included). He stated that they closed early due to minimum staffing and also referenced the COVID-19 and reduced hours.
All of this would have been fine, except that when we asked for his supervisors information, he became verbally defensive and turned to retrieve a business card.
We asked Orlando to write down the store hours for the day, as as the timing and reason for early closing. Not only did he refuse to do so, he retracted his business card and refused to give it to us at all, after asking him multiple times.
At this point, I stated that he was operating under bad leadership and management principles, was false advertising, offering poor customer service, and was being unprofessional. He also snuck two employees out the front door during this time.
Further, he asked his employee to call the police (for what reason, no idea), and file a complaint on US. We simply wanted his managers information and he refused. Then he called the police, gave them our descriptions and our license plate number.
I fully intend on filing a formal corporate complaint with Sonic due to this manager’s response to this situation. Entirely unprovoked hostility and mismanagement of his employees and his place...
Read moreI want to thank the young man that stood in and helped me tonight. I didn’t catch his name. However, after ordering $60 of food and drinks and not getting the half price on the drinks in this order, I wasn’t upset however I decided to order additional drinks to take home and the app was not working at this particular location and it said to call the location. I was having issues with being that I was there. I asked to speak to the manager, asking her if she can honor the deal ordering from the restaurant directly due to the app having issues with their particular restaurant. The only thing she said and knew how to say was she had no leverage over the app and could not on the deal which would’ve been only taken four dollars off of my order after spending over $60. I sat there and I converse with her about the situation over and over and the only thing that she could tell me was, she had no leverage over the app and could not help me so I advised that I was going to get additional help the next day with a day manager or if I had to speak to a manager higher up. So then I was looking for a pin to write down her name and then all of a sudden they said we didn’t have to pay for the drinks at all after going back-and-forth for about 4 minutes. In addition to spinning over $60, did not include the tip because I always take care of the wait staff. And I tip well and as I was walking off all of a sudden, the gentleman says hold up and he brings me a $10 gift card. This I felt was a way of him telling me I apologize for the inconvenience.
