2025 June. Still the BEST Sushi restaurant in Denver!! Consistently great food and great service. Always fresh, Always delicious. This week I enjoyed Sushi while my hubby had his usual, Teriyaki Chicken with rice and veggies. He says it's the best he ever had. We shared the Fuji appetizer, crab rolled in cucumber, mango juice. YUM! Also the Rock Shrimp Tempura, A FAVORITE. I had my usual Dragon Roll plus Hawaii Roll. Most of the rolls I've tried are excellent, delicious! Great servers and Sushi chefs too!! We love this place. Over 10 years of excellence!!! So blessed to have this restaurant nearby!! Highly recommended!! Previous review 5 yrs ago** Excellent quality food and service on every single visit. Delicious fresh sushi, prepared with style. My husband always gets the Chicken Teriyaki since he doesn't like sushi and it's always fabulous. Juicy chicken, flavorful sauce. We've also had the best thick pork chop ever here. Tempura also very good. The wait staff and sushi chefs are very friendly and give top notch customer service every single time!! We love this place. Not to be missed when in Denver...close to the airport too if you have a few hours layover or before you head to the mountains. Right off I70 and Quebec St. Highly recommended!

We have seen an increase in quality over the last year as well as presentation. We ordered a regular sushi meal (super fresh!), and three creative rolls. We were pleasantly surprised by two of the flavors that we selected. They seemed very unique and they tasted so good. One was the Lemon tree roll and the other one was the Salmon Tar Tar. We would definitely order these again. Last roll was a B-1 roll, it was quite flavorful too (last pic). Their lunch specials are also very good advertised at $12 for two rolls or $16 for 3 rolls. But we did not do the lunch. I could tell their servers are working hard running around to catch orders, walk in customers and take out. Today I was especially surprised by their presentation. It looked like a countryside scene. Sitting at the bar allowed us to interact with the sushi chef which was quite fun as he talked to us about the ingredients.

This Blue Fin is located on the corner of 29th Street, I do recall coming here years ago on a Groupon but did not forget how delicious the 29th roll was. Friday evening, not too overly crowded, the service was still great. The Philadelphia roll, was an average roll you can get anywhere. Avocado salad was refreshing and had a splash of sweet dressing. Miso soup was very good, which made us so amazed and excited to try the sushi that was to come, it was flavored just right with mushrooms, almost made me ask for a second tasting. The price of the 29th roll and the rainbow mango roll was a little bit of a shock, but after the first bite, you can tell that the sushi was fresh. The 29th roll had a tiny kick of spice and not an overpowering taste of garlic. The rainbow mango roll had crispy tempura shrimp and riped mango slices. I will definitely be back.

Our sushi was good - that was the only saving grace. Otherwise the service was terrible. We waiting ten minutes or more for everything except edamame. We saw the waitress sitting down and playing with her phone while we were waiting for her to take cards/clear table. It wasn't very busy so there was no excuse for the service to be this poor. Too top it all off the waitress claimed that my card was declined so my friend threw cash at her and didn't get change because we didn't want to wait any longer. I get back to our hotel and check my bank account and the charge was pending. I called and the manager turned me over to the waitress who told me she couldn't do anything because she had cashed out for the night. What the heck?!?!? She finally came to a conclusion that we should go back there and prove that it charged my card. I hung up on her and my friend insisted I call back and make sure someone would be there if we went back. This time the manager talked to me and said that the charge didn't really go through and that it would disappear in a couple of days. Well what do you know it didn't. Still trying to work out that issue. Can't understand how the waitress didn't know she had $40 too much in tips considering how poor she was at her job. Do not eat here. Positive reviews try to say otherwise, and even though we loved our food I would NEVER go back on principle alone. I'm still stewing about what kind of manager turns you over to the waitress when there's a problem with a card payment. I regret not leaving during our initial 10 minute wait for water and menus and going to the Irish...

First time and to be honest I don't know if it will be the last...when We arrived it was with a girl who looked very stressed and short... every way I brought her to the table, I came with my son in the baby car (she never offered me hair chair for me was good he wasn't going to eat there but it's more customer service), after 2 minutes a I started to hear screams from this waitress. I don't know if she was the manager because she was the only one who wasn't wearing black (she had jeans and a pink cap from NY). Also She was very unpleasant and made derogatory comments about someone on his team saying in the middle of the restaurant "maybe he doesn't understand because he doesn't speak English." REALLY BAD I had to ask another waitress (thank God it wasn't the one in the pink cap) to please go and tell the kitchen that this was not welcome and if they could speak softly and lower . Thank goodness my waitress was another: 5 star to Jocelyn, She was great (also 5 start for my DELICIOUS sushi Thank you Chef ). My only complaint is with this waitress or manager.. is possibly give other opportunities for Jocelyn and the great Sushi but...
