I was seated with a great host and seated quickly at first, but unfortunately it took the waiter 10 minutes to greet me and take my order (I totally understand if it was busy, but it wasn't as it was 9pm). There was another guest next to me who arrived a few minutes after I did. Unfortunately, the waiter checked in with that guest more times than with me. I often times don't want to assume it's because of my race, but there clearly was a difference in treatment.
I ordered the pad thai, which was okay. Good tangy taste and the food were hot. The host even brought me chopsticks.
Once I was almost done with my food, they seated a (what seems to be a past co-worker on the other side of me). That's when the waiter completely started ignoring me (while still serving the other guest on the other side of me) and started just talking to the previous coworker. The host and the manager also came over and all started talking loudily next to my table, and that was my final straw, and I had to leave. The manager was also being snobby at me as I was using the port to charge my phone.
I had finished my food before the other guest, but the other guest received her bill first. Service was not great, especially if you expect folks to pay $31 for a pad thai dish.
I heavily regret spending money and time here. The only decent thing was the food and the host at the beginning. I would not recommend this place to anyone, despite it being one of the only asian cuisines in...
Read moreAn absolute disaster of a meal! This place serves the idea of Asian food but completely fails in execution. The Pad Thai and Lo Mein were an inedible, soggy mess...drenched in excessive sauce, overloaded with limp, overcooked onions, and paired with mushy noodles that had zero texture. The tofu was bland and rubbery. It was as if someone who had never tasted real Asian cuisine just threw random ingredients together. To top it off, we paid $75 for this disappointment...including a single beer. We couldn’t even finish our meals because they were that bad. Total waste of money! Avoid...
Read moreThis is clearly one of the best restaurant experiences possible in an airport. Except the huge glass windows looking out at the runway , you almost forget you are at an airport . Which is handy when you are in a long wait for your flight and dont want to be reminded that you are stuck in an airport :)
I tried a few appetizers . One of them was papad(pappadums) and the other charred edamame . despite being very simple recognizable appetizers, they were both very well done . The cocktails were great too . Cant wait to go to the downtown location when I am back in...
