I stopped by this store this past Sunday after being drawn in by the cute items on display. There was only one woman working at the time, and I noticed she was following me around the store. I brushed it off and proceeded to make a purchase. Before checking out, I noticed a stain on the shirt I had picked, so I stepped out of line (after letting the person behind me go ahead) to quickly exchange it. I noticed the employee watching me closely, which felt uncomfortable, but again, I brushed it off.
I purchased a long-sleeve shirt and was told they had no bags, which wasn’t a problem. I folded the shirt into my carry-on. A couple of days later, while on my trip, I pulled out the shirt to wear and noticed a stain-like mark on the sleeve. Since I was returning through DIA that Tuesday afternoon, I decided to stop by the store to return it.
The same employee was there. Before I could politely explained I wanted to return the shirt, she immediately interrupted and accused me of wearing it, without even hearing me out. I was flabbergasted. The shirt was still folded, albeit wrinkled from being in my luggage, and the tag was intact. She proceeded to raise the shirt to her nose, sniffed it, and loudly declared that it "stinks" and I had "definitely worn it."
I was stunned by the unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. I asked for the shirt back and was met with more attitude before she reluctantly allowed the exchange.
Overall, this was one of the most unpleasant retail experiences I’ve ever had. The staff member was rude, accusatory, and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I would not recommend shopping here. 0 stars, do...
Read moreThis is such an odd thing to review but I have to share this. My wife and I took a trip to San Diego and flew out of Denver. My wife loves SD merch and when she finds something cool, she’ll get it. She saw this sweater at the Denver airport when we were walking to our gate. She wanted me to buy it. I said “I’ll come back to get it when we set our stuff down.” She took a picture of it at the store in the Denver airport to send to me so I would remember it. First, we just thought it was a cool sign that there was some SD merch in Denver. So when I go back to the store to get it (literally in the same terminal) the entire rack was gone. I went to the associate and asked “hey where is this sweater, I wanna buy it for my wife?” They said “we don’t sell San diego merch here” I was dumbfounded because it’s obvious that the rack was there then gone. Logically, they may not have been able to sell city merch that’s not local to the city. However, I asked again “it was just here, we just walked by here 10 minutes ago.” And the associate said “no, you must have been in a different terminal.” And that just pissed me off. It’s like they were caught in a lie and just kept lying. I showed them the picture again and I guess the manager showed up and saw it and said “oh that sweater was the last one”. Again, insane because you can see it’s an entire rack. Just tell the truth. I don’t get why you would lie about something so dumb. Even if you couldn’t sell it, just say that. Stop...
Read moreI was at the Denver airport today and noticed the Out West store was having a great sale on their jewelry (buy one get one free). However, my excitement quickly faded after I asked the lady working in the store if I could look at the jewelry in the cases. From her reaction, you would’ve thought that I had just asked her if I could remove her heart. She was short tempered and was not able/willing to answer the two questions that I asked her about the beautiful jewelry. I finally walked out. Please hire a new...
