The only reason I am giving this place one star is because the view was so incredibly beautiful. Went in at lunchtime with a party of 10 ladies, age 65 to 80. It was the first warm day of the season, and the place was slowly filling up. We were ignored from the moment we walked in. We didn't even see any servers in the room-when we came in , the one server that we saw was out in the patio. We had to retrieve our own menus from the bar after sitting for 10 minutes. After 20 minutes, one of the ladies went to the bar and asked if we would get served. The bartender brushed her off with: We are doing the best we can. We sat for another 15 minutes and had received no waters, no apologies, no visit from a wait person. After we sat for one hour, completely ignored, we got up and left. But not before I went up to the young bartender and scolded them for the worst customer service I have ever seen and I have waited tables in three different states. I left a message for the manager and received a call back, very defensive, and her wait staff actually lied to her and said they had approached our table several times to tell us how busy they were. This was an outright lie. After sitting for about 40 minutes, we noticed tables that had come in after us were being served and actually received their food. The manager had the nerve to tell us that if it was obvious people were golfing they would be served first. There was a table, obviously not golfing since they had two children with them, who arrived after us, and were served during the hour we sat completely ignored. This was an out right situation of ageism and ignoring old women, because they had no time to deal with the elderly. We go out to lunch every Tuesday and are normally treated with respect and dignity. I will continue to pursue this matter until they make it right. I don't just want an apology, I will take this to the...
Read moreSadly, the facility booked the entire place to an organization that ran over on time and would not allow people (bad weather) to sit anywhere in the restaurant and there was no other seating made available to public - even though 50% of seating for group was empty because most had left at that point. Worse off, the staff were a bit rude about it. Basically told us to take our food and eat in the lobby, which btw, there was no seating available there.
I'm not sure of who runs the restaurant ,but wondering if this is a public facility funded by tax payer dollars (which admittedly I do not know), is it appropriate to eliminate access to all others who might be using the course that day and/or stopping people who were being served at outdoor tables from moving indoors because of dangerous weather (e. g., lightening, high wind storms, etc.) and providing them a safe place to eat.
Such a shame. I'll think twice about returning or...
Read moreTo the guy at the bar with the beard, green hat, and tattoos. What an unwelcoming experience you just gave us. We came to try out this lunch spot and there was an event taking the back room and so there was limited seating available. Totally understand, but we arrive not knowing thatâs the case and this guy sees us and annoyingly says âthis is all the seating we have right here there is a big partyâ I asked if the outside was open and he scoffed and said âya but itâs cold so if you really want to sit out there you canâ. Man all I wanted was to try this spot out and I felt embarrassed and forced to leave due to how uncomfortable that was. Your demeanor was humiliating and disrespectful and I guess unfortunately we wonât be coming back to this...
