December 2023: (lowering to 1 ⭐) Hated my teriyaki chicken. Should have listened to the reviews. Sauce was not teriyaki. Chicken was tasteless. Carrots were cold. Broccoli was okay. Rice was okay. Used to be my go-to place at the Denver airport. Used to have decent chow fun. Sad that this place went downhill. April 2018: Had a quick bite and ordered the Chinese chicken salad. Was okay. Flavors were good. Lettuce wasn't very crisp. Speculating because the salad was dressed ahead of time. Would I order this again? Maybe. If I was looking for vegetables. January 2018: Had the Chow Fun and won ton soup. The 🐔 and beef had zero flavor. It's possible they boil the meat for soup. That is the biggest disappointment in the food. Also, soup and noodles were too salty. Rating still 3 🌟 but will take back the earlier comment about getting an extra 🌟. This is definitely not as good as it used to be. 2017: If I was rating this place based on expectations of airport food, it would get an extra star. Overall, the food is pretty good. Had the Chinese chicken salad this time. Healthful option at the airport.

I recently visited City Wok and, unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I’ve been there before and had decent meals, but this time was quite different. I was in a hurry and needed something quick before my flight, so I decided to order lo mein. However, the wait time for my food was excessively long. When I finally received my order, I was really let down. The noodles were undercooked and stuck together, making them unappetizing. The onions were still crunchy, indicating they weren’t cooked properly either. To make matters worse, there were only a few tiny pieces of shrimp—definitely not worth the price. Additionally, the presentation was lacking. The lo mein was served in a brown paper folding box instead of a plastic container, which led to sauces leaking everywhere. It was a complete mess. Overall, I feel like I wasted my money on an undercooked, poorly presented meal. I really hope this was just a one-time issue, but I can’t recommend City Wok based on this experience.

I don't know why this review came up with a location in Denver, and I can't see how to edit the location. This was at Colby KS on I-70, in a Cenex truck stop. It was my first (and so far, only) time to eat at a City Wok, and it was delicious. It's next to Qdoba where my husband, son, and grandson ordered, but I was craving Asian. Since the sitting area is a commons, we all ate together. I had spring rolls and a bowl of won ton soup that was excellent. Won tons, shrimp and lots of chicken, lots of carrots and snow peas, cabbage...I enjoyed it all a lot! Especially meeting with my grandson as he traveled across country. It was a great place to meet and eat along I 70. We'll definitely do that again!

People say that Panda Express is terrible in terms of Chinese food, but you have to give them some credit. They're consistently okay. This place can't even hold that in their food or service.

The food was slow and expensive (somewhat expected for an airport restaurant), but the quality of the food was also terrible. The fried rice was lukewarm, barely mixed, and tasteless. There were gigantic clumps of unmixed rice and potentially uncooked shrimp.

My order of broccoli and rice was the opposite of my fried rice, but not in a good way. The rice and sauce were way overseasoned, and the food was extremely overcooked and scalding hot.

Service was unbearably uncoordinated, leading to long lines and mixed orders.

It's honestly a better idea to go to the McDonalds or any other location in this terminal.

Also, if your meal is underseasoned, the soy sauce they offer tastes like barely salted water, so good luck...
