Cochinos — Restaurant in Denver

Service was great, service is always great, and people working registers always deserve their flowers. I don’t care about atmosphere, when I go to a restaurant I go to eat, I’m not superficial like that. When I judge food, I judge based off price, quality, and taste, and unfortunately all 3 were lacking. $6 for a chicken burrito that only comes with chicken and tortilla. Want rice? Beans? Tomatoes? Anything? An additional dollar for each. The ‘special’ awards you chili cheese for 3 extra dollars. I know the rent is too damn high, I want to consider this, but holy cow $15 for a basic burrito with basic fixings is wild. Small businesses deserve lower rents and the people deserve...

Ordered Beef and bean burrito smothered DLX no cheese and carne asada fries. So one thing I noticed right away is the prices on the website are not the prices listed in the store. Anyway the carne asada fries are good, but since there isn't a description of any of the food, I was so grossed out with the sour cream but that's me I don't like sour cream, had I known obviously I would have said no sour cream. The Beef and Been burrito was good beans were good as well as the ground beef. The green chili burrito was great. No issues there.

But the guacamole was a major blow. The cost at a premium price for little to none. Basically just a small cup of mashed avocado with a hint of Lime and a sprinkle of salt. I'd pass on it.

Service was chill, but the atmosphere is rough. They need to get some work done in there. Definitely some painting and some places to dine in. Probably window tint too cause the sun blares through during the day. Same with vehicle lights at night.

And music and a drink station.

I hope they fix the place up. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled...
