New China Kitchen — Restaurant in Denver

The food tasted great, and the prices are normal average of all area Chinese restaurants. The flavor was really good in everything we ordered ( beef lo-mein, beef and broccoli, cheese wontons, eggrolls ( which my gf said were some of the best she's ever had in the area ), fried rice, BUT the portion of beef to noodle, & beef to broccoli ratio was horrible and the only reason I'm not rating them 4-5 stars.

It's literally 15-20% beef per dish then 75-85% noodles or broccoli. Was not happy about that at all as it should be at least 40-60 to 50-50 unfortunately.

Even as good as it was with flavor just because of that we will never order from here again since we can get the same food dishes, the same flavor if not better, for the same price, and get way more beef in it. We paid $38-40 and it was not worth it due to the lack of protein in each dish.

We paid for beef dishes and got a majority of noodles & veggies.

So if you like great flavor and paying for protein in your Americanized Chinese food then this isn't the place. You will not be happy with the small portion of beef and it'll just piss you off.

This place has great potential, but they need too add at least 4-5x the amount of beef. That's their only problem as far...

I've been coming to this place for 9 years. Chinese food is my favorite, and this place does it goddamn delicious.

Here's the skinny... This is a total hole in the wall. It's a free-standing building. But barely. DO NOT come here for the ambiance. There is none.

The beef is great. Spicy is just-spicy-enough. But they will make it more spicy if you like to enjoy your chinese food 8 hours later.

I noticed someone else complained about portion sizes being too small. They are small (if your name is King Kong.)

The portions are ridiculous. I would actually prefer 20% less food. I usually take the food out, and then I eat it reheated for 2 or 3 days afterwards. This place beats Olive Garden at $/leftovers.

The fried rice is probably the best part. I introduced a buddy to it, and he took to it like cocaine. I found out that he was driving from Aurora 2 times a month to get his fix for several years.

The seafood isn't great. The chicken is just ok. My preference goes like this: Beef, Vegetarian, Chicken, Seafood. Within in this, almost all of the dishes are good. Their Sesame Chicken beats the rule.

We tried ordering delivery after we've been getting their menus for weeks. When they answered the phone, there was no hello how are you, it was just noise. Like we pocket dialed someone. We said hello a few times and about hung up before some one finally asked us what we wanted, still no hello or greeting, just kind of barking at us. Ordered our food and all of the sudden when we give our address she says it's too far. We are 1.5 miles away, their menu says and I quote, "within 2 miles of the restaurant the order must at least be 20 dollars." We asked her nicely about this and she was so rude. Just kept saying no too far. Seriously, if that's your customer service and you can't even advertise the correct info when you drop it at my door every week, I don't even want to know what your food is like.
