I like the look of the restaurant. Seating is a but tight if that concerns you with covid. It personally wasn't a huge issue for me. Have Google translate out or speak Spanish. The staff doesn't speak any English just an FYI.
3 stars - I got the tacos Al pastor. 5 come in an order. I thought $15 was a little high for them. The flavor is right but the meat was a but dry. Also I'm not sure if it was from here but my stomach was a bit upset after. After my food was prepared, it was placed on the counter for the waitress. It was suppose to be a Togo order. I watched her as she touched my tacos with her bare hands go take them off the plate and box them all without washing her hands first after she had been back and forth between several tables and touched lots of other things. First off, my husband and I have gone up and down federal and we have our "favorite/best taco spot" already picked out, but we wanted to try something new and now our "favorite" might be changing. I got the asada and he got the barbacoa and al pastor. The al pastor are $1/taco on Tuesday so he was sold. The fresh grilled onion and what I believe was a grilled serrano, maybe jalepeno was the extra mile - so tasty! Their salsa is pretty on par with the rest of the neighborhood but they did have radish and cucumber toppings.
