Firehouse Subs South Colorado Blvd — Restaurant in Denver

I went to Firehouse Subs about a week ago, on my lunch break. Went to the one on South Colorado Blvd. I've eaten from Firehouse a couple times before, but it was the one in Belmar, on South Wadsworth. That's been quite a while ago. I do remember liking the food, those times too. First time I went to this one. It was right around noon. I was surprised there wasn't more people there, being the noon lunch hour. There was only 1 other guy there, waiting for his order to be finished. So, I got to order right away. The young lady that helped me, was very patient, and friendly. I told hercto give me a minute to look over the menu. All the sandwiches looked good. Finally settled on a large Hook and Ladder meal, that included a pop, and a bag of chips. Waited about 5 minutes for my order, as I took it to go. I opened the sandwich container, to make sure they got it right. They did. The store was very clean. Got in my car, and went back to work. I sat in my car to eat lunch, and listen to the radio. Man, let me tell you.....that sandwich was so good. Might be the best sub sandwich I ever had. One of those times that you didn't want to finish it, cause it would be all gone. Best lunch I've had in a while. I will definitely go back to Firehouse. Only thing is....the sandwiches are a little pricey. You can choose from small, medium, or large. Just depends on how hungry you are. After eating that sandwich...I could care less about the price. This is a wonderful family owned Firehouse location that always hits the mark. In fact they set the bar!

Misghna, Alganesh, and Yola are all great to work with, and bring the quality of service back to the Fast-casual Food Industry.

The atmosphere at this location is welcoming, spacious and private enough for dine-in if you want. Decor is perfect and lively, yet comfortable. The food is great, and the wait time was over before I could make a phone call.

Algnesh, at the register is always a pleasure, she is lovely and willing to help with recommendations as well as making sure we were taken care of.

Misghna, took pride in his work, making sure to adjust my requests even after my sub was already being made. He took the wait time out of equation without sacrificing quality!

Yola, is welcoming and inviting to say the least and one of the reasons I come to this location.

The flavor of these subs really “POP” when they’re heated! Also, this franchise is the first for this local Denver family. I did’t ask if I could post their name, so I won’t. But he had a much funnier joke than me. Strike one. Then the staff was incredibly friendly. Strike two. Then the subs were”huge;”. Lots of meat, cheese, lettuce and that amazing Italian dressing. Strike three. I won’t be back- - -today. But I’ll be back every single day for the foreseeable future until they act rude, stop smiling & being friendly like most other places. Geez.
