House of CoPa — Restaurant in Denver

I was skeptical at first especially because they’re under new ownership, but wow was I blown away! They have an amazing selection of breakfast foods and are soon to be expanding the menu from what I hear, the staff is incredibly friendly and the drinks were great. I got a cappuccino and sat on the patio to read and get some work done, and my friend was able to get work done and even take meetings in quieter spots since the outdoor seating area is so spacious. Decent property down the street from us with a lot of potential. Was good to be able to walk here and get a drink while it was still open, but the place has been closed for a number of months now with a big sign out front saying "re-opening soon." Would be great if someone could keep this place open for more than maybe a year at a time. I've seen it change ownership a number of times since living in this neighborhood.

Edit: as of June '24, there's now a sign on the door saying that House of Copa is permanently closed, and a Novo Coffee...

The two baristas are beyond kind and attentive. They make every day better. The renovations are stellar. Everything is lovely and I appreciate the large outdoor courtyard. The lattes are great; the drip coffee is a bit bitter for my tastes. We had an excellent toasted bagel with cream cheese. I wish they would find a different supplier for muffins.
