Ever since I had the absolute pleasure of dining here two weeks ago, I can easily say I have thought about this place every single day since. The quality, freshness, service and presentation were top tier. I was really blown away that a gem such as this exists right here in Denver. Growing up bicoastal, it’s been difficult finding decent sushi places around here with the exception of maybe 3 places, but Wassa and Will blow everyone out of the park in my opinion. The flavors were complementary to the freshness of the fish, making every dish we had mouth watering and not over done. Best part of this dining experience was the quality customer service and care we had. You can just tell the owners love what they do and its shows in their craft! This quickly has become one of my fav spots - so happy to have found it and excited to see what to come!

Edit 9/8: Had the pleasure of returning not only once but twice this week because how could you not? One evening I was blessed by the Chefs select (shout out to Will!) which featured such an amazing variety of fresh nigiri/sashimi that truly just melts in your mouth and keeps your own your toes. Each bite somehow better each time its hard to choose. My next visit this week I just HAD to go back to try their lunch bowls which were in fact all the rave, did not disappoint, still thinking about it daily. If you want to support a young couple and a local business, I couldn't recommend a place more. Looking forward to bringing more friends and family to savor in this prime culinary...

Denver's newest and BEST hand roll/nigiri bar! The customer service is top tier from the sweetest husband and wife couple you've ever met. They are so passionate about their craft and it shines brightly with the highest quality seafood and excellently thought out toppings on each and every bite. If you're a nigiri connoisseur, look no further - this is your dream place to go to. Their menu is the perfect size in terms of options without being too overwhelming. They let the fish selection for the day speak for itself and every single bite you eat is refined to pure perfection for a mind blowing experience with each piece.

Their omakase set and ingredients constantly rotate and it keeps me coming back to try all the new offerings! It is so worth it in value - 6 pieces of nigiri, miso soup with soft tofu, and a hand roll for $55-$65 depending on fish used.

I have without a doubt found my new favorite sushi spot in Colorado. The ambiance is modern, clean, and casual yet refined.

Straight A+++ across the board for freshness, quality, taste,...

Best new sushi restaurant in Denver. There I said it!!! I have too many good things to say about Kin Nori Bar. The food? Perfect. Makes me do a happy dance with every bite. My feet literally start involuntarily fluttering when I take a bite of each new dish put in front of me. My husband and I lived in San Francisco for 10 years, so we’ve definitely eaten some GOOOOOD sushi and this is at the same level (maybe better???) as our favorites in the Bay Area. The service? Also perfect. Will and Wasa couldn’t be better hosts. They are always kind and welcoming and I look forward to seeing them pretty much every weekend because we’ve gone the last 4 weekends in a row (lol). The ambiance? I love that all seating is at the giant horseshoe shaped bar! Makes it feel so intimate and fun. Do yourself a favor and drive over there right now and order a halibut, salmon toro, and hamachi nigiri and a butter bliss roll. Your feet will start dancing, I swear....

Definitely on the expensive side, but the quality here is amazing! We got the chefs set and added an app & a few extra pieces. It was about $150 per person including tax & tip. The otoro & caviar were my favorite. Sooo rich, buttery, and delicious! Other standouts were the scallop (HUGE with zesty citrus), tuna handroll (such a savory, buttery bite), kanpachi (fresh, lemony & flavorful), and uni (savory, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth 🤤). The only downside is that the chefs set nigiri is all served at the same time. I’d suggest eating the torched pieces first, as the wagyu had cooled down by the time I got to it, giving it a slightly waxy/greasy texture. The space itself is very vibe-y. The workers seemed a bit busy and pacing was on the slower side. Overall though, I loved this place and would definitely come back.
