Li'l Devils Lounge — Restaurant in Denver

This place was so awful :( We went out for my birthday to a bar before this one, & arrived at around 12:30. Once we were seated, we asked our waitress if we could start with some waters while we looked over the drink menu. She was immediately rude to my friend for asking, saying she’d charge us $10 each for the waters & saying how we weren’t allowed to just sit in there & drink water. My friend kindly told her we were all planning to get drinks but hadn’t even received a drink menu yet. The lady then angrily walks away & says “well i’ll try to ask if they can make them” what ???? a restaurant that doesn’t have water? Then we all ordered a drink each, and as soon as they were brought out the woman says she needs all of our cards to run them, which was a little weird & felt rushed but we all gave them to her anyway, Then she’s gone with all of our cards for about 30 minutes, comes back with one of my friends card with every drink already charged on it. Then slowly one by one each of gets our cards back also charged with each of our own drinks. Realizing the woman tried to charge us all twice, we asked her to look back at the receipt & she didn’t apologize or anything just took it back to the bar. I was the only one who didn’t receive my card back & after about an hour I asked the woman where my card was, she said she was holding onto it because I asked to keep my tab open? I have never been to a place that holds your card all night, walking around with it to keep the tab open. I immediately wanted to close my tab & was no longer interested in ordering any more drinks because the woman was so rude & I didn’t want anything happening with our cards. Finally, once all the cards are back we try to finish up & leave, & do not tip well because of how uncomfortable & awful everything felt. The woman then starts harassing our entire group about the tips, comes over to me & my friend across the place at the bathrooms to harass us about them as well. I worked in the service industry for 4 years & I do completely understand how hard & overwhelming it can be, but this woman was rude from the very beginning & made no effort to provide decent service or to avoid taking advantage of us & double charging everything. I would not recommend this place at all, there’s so many better lounges & bars all...

I'll admit, I've been going to Li'l Devils for as long as it's been open. I even worked for them as a bartender for over a year. As a customer, this bar has it all. Friendliness, service, reasonable prices and a classy environment. (Classier than most gay lounges). I want to give Ashley ( I like a nickname for her, "Lashly". She has really long eyelashes) any way, when she first started as a bartender for Li'l Devils, I wasn't sure she would make the cut. I sensed attitude. Toward me anyway. I've witnessed her grow from a staff member that was green and attitudy, to a well rounded, very useful employee. That was rather short lived. Now, put her in any situation with any customer and she provides excellent service, friendly demeanor like she's known you all her life and a damn good drink! Brandon deserves kudos too. An a attractive gentleman, who is so likeable that making him your bestie would be so easy.Then there's Kevin. Kevin, Kevin, Kevin...we had our differences in the past. Kevin is now my sista. He's funny, when you understand what he said, lol. He makes a great drink is a great conversationalist. If you are looking for a loungy experience and Denvers best patio, you will love li'l Devils! Really rude service ! I was told to leave because I was pressured to get a drink ! Tony and Kevin will pressure you to get a drink even if you’re sobering up to make money for his pocket . This bar I do not recommend they only loookout for their pocket as well as the nachos are horrible . Please do not come here I get told to leave because I didn’t get a drink after my friend bought me one . Please do not waste your time coming to this bar it’s horrible. I got told to leave because apparently I was a hustler ? I as here with my friends after a night out . The staff is rude and unprofessional especially Tony and Kevin. I got a drink and my friend was finishing hers and I was just waiting on her and I got asked to leave because I won’t get another drink to fill their pockets . I do not recommend...
