Los 3 Potrillos Mexican Restaurant & Sport Bar — Restaurant in Denver

1 waitress, no other customers on a Saturday afternoon. I walked in the for annd no one was visible so I stepped to the bar area where I found her watching tv and talking the phone via a head piece. She wasn’t overly friendly and simply said just you? As she walked toward a table, dropped a menu down and strolled away as she said I’ll come back, less than enthused. She did the minimum, asked the questions but that’s about it. I was prepared to hang out and have a couple drinks but the general cool reception and lack of enthusiasm had me ordering the minimum and leave. getting out. The food was meh, the crispy rellano was gummy and under cooked and tasted of Asian eggroll wrapper. The salsa was mild so I asked if they had a spicy one, she brought back the same bowl with a shot of some other commercial hot sauce splashed into it on top of the other. Nothing to write home about. The classic margarita was good but too expensive for what you got. The whole experience wasn’t worth the cost...

Went there because I had a coupon for a free drink. I was the only customer, which I though was strange for 6pm. Now I know why. The rice was cold. The asada was tough. They gave some guac and bean dip but get this... I got 3 chips for the dip. Just 3 chips. And the bean dip was beans with chopped up hotdogs. Then when the server handed me the bill she stared at me while I wrote the tip. Very rude service, very bad food.

Seriously. With so many Mexican restaurants within 2 miles of here, there is no reason to ever come to Los...
