I’ve come to this restaurant multiple times because the food is usually very good, and the younger waiter is always pleasant and attentive. However, every time I’m served by Bernardo, the experience takes a turn for the worse. He’s consistently rude and neglectful, with an attitude that makes you feel unwelcome — almost like you’re inconveniencing him just by being there. It really affects the overall vibe and makes me not want to return when he’s working.
Another thing I’ve noticed is that when the chef isn’t there, the menu seems extremely limited — usually just cold dishes like salads or sushi, and nothing warm or substantial. It’s disappointing to show up hoping for a full meal and finding that most of the menu is unavailable.
The food can be great, and the atmosphere has potential, but inconsistent service and limited options when the kitchen isn’t fully staffed really hold...
Read moreThe food was OK, but the service was horrible. Prior to ordering, I asked if I could use my United Meal Vouchers to pay. I was given the OK, only to be told out checkout that I had to pay the entire bill without using the vouchers. Older blonde bartender named Stacey was just extremely rude about the whole situation and lacked empathy. I noticed she was being quite rude to those around me as well. She was telling customers that they couldn’t order specific items and she even kicked out a guy from the dining area because he ordered his food to go. Took me 45 minutes to pay the bill and get out of there after asking for the check. The whole experience was a nightmare.
Edit: Went to the Marriott after, and had zero issues using the vouchers. Staff told me I could use them on literally anything, and so I did. Very friendly and zero issues, so I’m not sure why this restaurant was so...
Read moreVery weird experiences at this place. I lined up at the counter right after another customer, and I was pretty sure the waiter saw us; but then he just left straight and back to the bar counter while us had to wait for a long time. When he is back he acts like he thought this whole thing was funny. The lady he was serving at the bar asked from afar “are y’all trying to order?” and laughed together with this waiter guy named Charlie Martin (at least this is the name he mumbled to me after I insist on asking) Very uncomfortable experience and felt like racism. It’s quite rare to receive such a treatment in an airport now so I will just attribute this to his personal character. We did not taste the food eventually so I will just give full score for that. I kindly suggest the store to get better title VI education to this Mr. Martin and make sure he understands...
